It's good to see that the Steam page of the game is finally up: :giggle:
Thanks!

They approved the page (not the game yet) last night while I was sleeping. I don't want to give it too much publicity until the game is approved (and the intro video is changed to something more adult. The video is done but it still lacks music).

But yes, I'm thrilled because the page is already up! (And scared about the game review). It "only" took a year and a half to adapt Season 1 to Season 2/3 interface and re-render the worst renders (except for the worst three animations, the rest has been rendered because of noise or lighting)!

Congrats! I'm sure they'll approve the game in no-time. In the meantime I made sure to wishlist the game so it shows up in the Steam listings.
I double checked and saw that season 1 has the export screen at the end so imports into season 2 probably won't give people any issues. Season 2 doesn't have this feature though. So I recommend that before you release that onto Stream you do implement that export screen there too to avoid people complaining about Season 3 errors, just because they didn't save at the right location.
Another thing that might give issues in the future is that season 2 and 3 both see each others save files. Obviously they give a fatal error when you load a save from the wrong season and that might not be something you want to confront Steam users with (they just claim the game is faulthy and don't check if it's an user error)

Personally, I think the video captures the tone of the game quite well ... but I am interested in what the new music will be.

Season 1 has been moved to Season 2/3 interface, so no more export screens (it was a nice feature, but a lot of people didn't understand how it worked). For Season 2 (Steam) I will add a failsafe that will show a message if they try to load a save that isn't from the last chapter of Season 1. That way I can avoid the issues with incompatible saves or "It doesn't show the images" messages on Season 2. Same for Season 3 (and I will add a questionnaire to it when it's published on Steam, and modify Season 2's questionnaire).

The video is too PG for Steam (seeing what other developers publish as a trailer). It was done for Cross-promo (it should be on YouTube, so no nudity). The new video is a bit shorter (1:11 vs 1:37), more animated (less PowerPoint feeling), and sexier (with some spoilers about the scenes the players will find in Season 1).

The music is now in the hands of the composer of , an upcoming game. He's a long-time subscriber and offered his music for the video. I'm eager to see what he chooses. It's my first time working with a professional composer!
