Thanks! I thought someone like Eva, used to death, being unsettled by Bambi and The Lion King would be a tender way of showing how much of a little girl she is in some aspects of "real life". And it opens the door for a nice cuddling scene in the future, watching both movies with the two "hardened" girls.

The real test ofc would be Watership Down. :)

I think Eva would enjoy "Full Metal Jacket" as well, on movie night.

I do recall the The Lion King reference just didn't save image, to use in a post. My bad.

Never heard of it until now (not even heard the Spanish title "Orejas largas" (Long ears)). I had to google it. I read the synopsis, and it looks like a movie Eva would enjoy more than Bambi.

I think Eva would think Hartman is too soft. His attempts to dehumanize the soldiers are almost jokes compared with what she experienced. Those soldiers should be dehumanized, clones at NTR were "farmed" without a trace of human feelings. She will understand (and appreciate) the movie some years from now.

The Lion King reference is in the next line, but Bambi's reference is stronger, since it's the first one and more shocking. The one about Mufasa is only a follow-up.

I thought she got pissed off at Bambi because the hunter was using the wrong caliber rifle and an improper grain load.
