I did a workaround, used unren to decompile the rpyc files, then edited the script.rpy files to change the name from Bob to what I wanted. It does turn out, after the game called you Bob for 10 minutes of dialogue, you can then change the name. Kind of ruins the immesion some to do it that way.

I feel like the deteriorating of the arousal bar is not needed, or needs to be slower, it just costs too much to maintain at the moment and makes the game, which was at a good pace too slow, as every few days you need to stop progressing and just spend 2 or 3 days to grind money. No skip button is also a pretty weird choice, but maybe that's because we are playing the unfinished version, and it's bugged.

The renders are amazing as usual, and the animations are very nice for such a small team!

With the inclusion of arousal mechanics ive now become curious if its possible to use console commands to modify the girls arousal and shyness. The game is as playable as its ever been and I've already made my way about half way through the latest version, im just curious if its possible to trigger events by raising arousal or if everything is scripted and its impossible to raise arousal past set limits before you have completed certain events.

The game is as playable as its ever been and I've already made my way about half way through the latest version, im just curious if its possible to trigger events by raising arousal or if everything is scripted and its impossible to raise arousal past set limits before you have completed certain events.

Then call me a dumbass also. I can see nowhere on the main menu to change names. I also checked in the preferences menu, nothing in there. I do not get a prompt when starting the game, to rename. Then suddenly I am Bob, according to the lawyer.

The Change Name option is included on the Stats and Info screen, but it doesn't really work. It will change the name in the current play, but will not save it to the file, so it reverts to Bob on every load (unless I'm missing something else).

On a different note, the grind of Episode 7 was too much for me too, mostly because the skip function was disabled. I could handle the repeating scenes in earlier episodes when you could skip through them after seeing them a few times. Having to click through every line of the scenes repeating a dozen times was too much for me. I got to the point where I'd be rapidly clicking and not even looking at the screen (watching TV or reading something else) and only look back at the screen occasionally to see if it was over. I started the episode a week ago, but never finished it. I think I was on about 70 of 77 events completed. I wasn't stuck at that point, just so tired of it that I wasn't interested in playing any more. I was a Master member when Episode 7 was released, but dropped down to Bronze after that frustration. I'm thinking that I'll give one more chance on Episode 8, but likely stop there if there aren't some changes (like reenabling skip at a minimum)

I've managed to grind out 75/77 events after about 9hrs of gameplay, but am stuck here.

Any help would be appreciated, ie. which girl is the event with?
I can get them all to 100% with in a few ig days, but not knowing who it needs to be is driving me nuts (and broke).

I don't know, mate... I started this episode (7) with more than 15k, and now I'm broke, several events still blocked, and I just can't manage to get Lynn 100 horny ever... Lina never reached 100% while watching TV at night, so the thing is I lost all the money, can't get enough to upstand it and can't get any more progress because arousal decays too much T___T

Well, besides the monthly 150 for the house upkeep there is nothing that FORCES you to spent any money...

If you had 15K and it`s all gone, then maybe only maybe this is intended?! to reset the EP to have a challenging experience for everyone regardless if you saved up 1K or 1mio.

Imagine if you have 1mio. and would be able to rush trough all coming episodes without any form of struggle?!

And that`s the point right? if you don`t struggle the reward will taste like nothing compared to what awaits you behind the sweet sweet struggle.

Anyways I don`t want to sound to philosophical here, just trying to show there are good reasons behind all this.

The girls will ask you for money right but don`t you worry about it, you can simply ignore all those besides the 150 for the house upkeep.
You can avoid ruin the mood simply by reloading...

Focus on the events I told you already and ignore everything else. It`s that easy. Focus on one girl, ignore the others
and reload when you run into a paying scene, if you have not learned it yet.

it`s learning by doing. See the events as what they are a way to reduce the stacked up income and if you can spent 40 on the Truth or Dare and up to 500 later on the "Self Defense" you will come out with much much more than you invested.

And if you say 500 is insane, well it won`t start on 500, try to find out the lower numbers for the first encounter by yourself.

I really dunno how more to say without mayor spoiler^^

Last hint for a better mindset, consider giving more time to the game and don`t consume it like fast food all in one day...
Give it a try, if you feel stuck come back tomorrow, the subconscious can learn during the sleep so you might be smarter the next day =) - no joke.

There appears to be a "bug" or glitch when it comes to moving over to a new episode where the money resets out of the blue. It's not a big deal unless you do the switch on a late sunday or similar and do not have enough time to get the money.

Anyways with that said this game is *amazing* for me it's a solid 9.5/10. It can be a bit tricky to figure out how to unlock an event even if you know when it takes place(especially when there are only a few left). Sometimes you can do them all and in some episodes it's quite hard.

Yeah, I saw it after I went through what I guess was the prologue, being called Bob the whole time. That ruins immersion, imo. I used unren to decompile all the rpyc files, then edited the script.rpy file to change the default name. That way it uses my chosen name from the start, as it should have been setup to begin the game, like most games of the type.

Just started playing 7 and here are things I have noticed so far. Looking at them while they sleep increases arousal so it is easy to get Eve's higher since she sleeps so long. Also, from roommate to the one before this it would remind you to save every morning. I wish I started doing that each day in this one. Twice I have run out of money, gotten into a loop you can't get out of, and been stuck. I had to start over from my most recent save and it was not that recent. Other than that and the not being able to skip repeated dialog I am liking what I have played so far.
