for some reason I can't play the Linux version, the .sh just opens like a text file. Had this problem with one other game but the dev quickly released a patch to fix it and the patch worked

Don't have that option when I right click on it

Might need to set the permissions to allow execution. Right click on it and make sure the allow execution bit is set. If so, the allow launching option should appear.
