An nothing kills more the desire in a couple than the man not looking after himself or unable to stand up for himself. A lot of guys who have dead bedroom marriage don't get that. That being said :

- the guy provides for the family
- in 40 years of marriage, my dad never bought a car to my mother or any kind of big ticket item. Hutch did.
- He's a good father and a good husband.

Are these elements explaining partly Vivian's cheating ? Maybe. Is it an excuse ? Absolutely not.



Tbh, Hutch's final stance doesnt make sense either. Idk if he knows that Vivian knows he knows (Ooof), but it's an insane response to the situation they're in. But i guess, we'll get more info later.

It comes across as Vivian thinking she's wise enough to know what needs to be done. But honestly her character feels more naive, and quite narcissistic. Everything she is doing is not for Hutch, nor for the two of them, its clearly for herself.
The dev has done a good job, of adding misdirection in her dialog (intentional or unintentional), to make it sound like she thinks she is caring for her family, but come-on! Who continuously fucks their husband's boss for any reason other their selfish reasons? Especially knowing it would not be something their husband would want, and would hurt them immeasurably if the find out!



From experience, being in a long term marriage, husband and wife tend to develop assigned roles, tasks and chores in the relationship. Sounds like Vivian probably had a more prominent role in the decision making for the family, but that isn't a sign of weakness in Hutch. I allow my wife get away with lots of stuff, and make many choices, gladly compromising to keep her happy. (She does for me too.) It isn't happy wife = happy life, but happy spouse = happy house.
I figure Hutch for the most part, is similar in that respect.
Her refusal to admit to her cheating by constantly lying would be killing him every time her talks to her or thinks about her.
And he has given her plenty of opportunities.
Christian seeing this dynamic as a weakness just shows how little he understands a real relationship, that isn't just sex.


Must be her M.O. don't you think? I mean she used sex to try and manipulate Christian too, only she was the one who got played. Christian has realized that about her, and that's why he want's her to use her sex appeal to woo clients.
Hutch, after 22 years, is capable to resist her charms when needed. In this circumstance, resisting her was child's play.

so many of my questions answered in one... tips hat. i had similar relationship with my wife for 10 years .... more of a bond kind of thing... we were just so in tune with each other. there was a lot of communication and maybe that's the reason y we knew exactly what the other wanted in any given situation... we used the term dominant in this thread but in a marriage its more about being in sync with one another ... know from just a glance how your spouse feels and what they need.

about the M.O. she does tell christian that intimacy is hutch's way of telling her he loves her... so at this point vivian should have know something was wrong instead of telling christian all about their intimate details.

The more I analyze the game (which I've got no idea why I am.... thanks a lot SC games!), the more pathetic I found Vivian's character. It's like her external beauty is inversely proportional to her internal ugliness.
How could someone who supposedly loves their husband more than anything, expect him to work for the guy she is cheating with. Surely she knows how fucked that is, and how much it would hurt her husband!

this is what exactly is happening to me. and the failure in understanding what you have stated above by vivian is what baffled me. even at the start of the game where you have the only choice in the game you start to hate the way vivian is. as a teacher doesn't she have the brain cells to come up with that logic. this is why is say there is a lot of porn logic in the vn.

That Vivians cheat is a fact and is not a mistery and that she like to continues fucking with Christian is not a secret is being shown already . So what is left to discover only if she gets more corrupted and ruined all what for me would be a devastating end or if she turn back behave and admited the whole chaos and slut accting accepting that she is fallen without her controlling into sex only with Christian and save her marriage. Another scenario what would be a schock is that Vivians betraye in such a way that she at the end turn against hutch and blame him for letting her go far into Christian and that would be so dark then she would take the hand of Christian once again in turn her back to Hutch and just go. That is what i am personal expecting. That is sad but real.

rob and gattsuu are so in sync but yes what you said above and what gattsu mentioned in some of his post in this page follow the common story plot. that's not what the dev. is trying that's my take on how he talks about the vn.I have come across only an a few times this theory being remotely brought up. that is the tattoo on vivian back. what if at the end, this is all a dream within a dream. and you go back to the first day of the vn and it ends with vivian getting up and going to the office to meet christian. that would be really way out there kinda theory.

I think as the dev saw how we analyse the game so deeply that any sneak peek will destroy the impact of the next update . So as he wrote we have to bear him. Christian isn’t going to marry Vivian, he’s not a one woman man. More like a harem, and don’t think viv would like to share him with other ho’s.

To me, the novelty created by this VN is one of the main elements that made me so attached to it. Now, dev has a enormous challenge to come near the expectation he created in the first part. I must admit that this concerns me a bit. Poorly comparing, I recall the expectation I had of watching Matrix 2, after the first one - a true masterpiece in my opinion. No need to mention I was really disappointed with the 2nd and 3rd parts. I hope I am wrong and that dev is preparing other surprises and novel experiences in the next installment.

I found a way to not to be dissapoint cause that might happen while our imagination design another darker path that could makes more addict . So i decide to read another similar storys i ve found and wow . I found some special storys and that keep me awy from just this story. And finally just escaping to reality where i am actually looking for a Vivian outthere . . To seduce..
