I was under the impression he was about to do another porn game with "the black guy trope". But i read his ancient comments and i keep the faith, knowing he wants to surprise everyone. He also said that the ellipsis of the reason Vivian gave in so easily was the foundation of his story, so i'm hyped again.

I admit that there are signs that could point to that with the mechanic (and also the basketball player, perhaps), but at the same time, I'm not so sure. I feel like this one is a bit different, but we won't know until the next update (or possibly even beyond that one). There could be an element of "I've already used sex as a bargaining chip once, and I've been given the "freedom" by Hutch to do stuff outside of our marriage, so why not?"

That could be the way to bring in the mechanic at least, but at the moment, I don't think that would feel right. I still feel like Vivian is going to keep true to the game's title (or at least intend to), and only go outside the marriage when Christian is concerned, but I could definitely be wrong. Perhaps that would expand to the popular theory of Christian using Vivian to seduce his clients, because you could absolutely bracket that under "My Husband's Boss", but I remain unconvinced.

Here is what the into reads :

When a wife does the wrong thing for the right reason, it threatens to destroy the very thing she was trying to protect... her family. Can she dig herself out of the hole she created or just get buried deeper and deeper, losing sight of what it was all originally for? How will she deal with new emotions, desires, and jealousies? How will her husband? Will her awakened sexuality consume her?

This is an NTR story focusing on a long term married couple suddenly thrust into a love triangle. This is a darker, emotional kind of story.

The dev alludes that she could either dig herself out or go further to the dark side if cheating. How will Hutch deal.... These are all in the writing skill of the Dev.... We can guess , even comment, But fact is... the story is already written... Just like a good book we wait on the next chapter. So far very skillful.

You're right to remember us about the basics .

At some point, not ihe next update, i think the"Sawyer problem" will be part of the story. There are breadcrumbs leading to that (the interest manifeted by many young men in her, her having an innapropirate behaviour sometimes). It might be either a wake up callor a way into the darkness.

Jealousies is employed at the plural. I might overinterpret again, but maybe, more people than Hutch will feel this feeling ? Involvement of Addison ? Something still hidden ?

To be honest, i don't expect the end to be a happy one. But i would like it to have lifelike consequences. In many NTR, the consequences are not adressed. Especially in this situation where they're married for 22 years and have an adult son in a small town.

P.S : a story arc with Hutch and Addison would be a nice addition: bc it will raise up her own insecurities (she has expressed her the fear of losing her family but also the fear that Hutch would abandon her for a young thing). It's a setup where a lot of good dialogues between Vivian and Hutch could occur, this could be the perfect setting for them to lash out at each other and say things the have thought but never said out loud.

The ending part could be really easy to look at. If at the end Vivian and Hutch remain together, having escaped from Christian's stranglehold, then half the players might be happy and the other half not so much. If at the end Vivian and Hutch end up separating and Vivian is a cockwhore, either together with Christian or just on her own, half the players might be happy and the other half not so much.

We'll just have to see how this is written.. I have know couple recover from this type of slump in a long marriage. At any rate... I do hope it will be sooner than later ... I also hope he wets the appetite with some juicy previews !

It's been a week since release and I am blow away with the positive reviews, the words of encouragement, and the lively discussions here in this thread. I've posted some things here and on my profile page but I wanted to consolidate everything with the status of this project.

I'm not sure how long ago this project was born but I casually worked on the script, character creation, world building, and test renders, for quiet a while before ramping up into 'production mode'. I released this as v0.2 to signify it is approximately 20% complete. The number I think is fairly accurate, maybe a little high. The entire story is plotted out, including the ending, it's just a matter of rendering it out. The first release was 5k images. I have another 2k+ in the can already for future scenes. Most of that will be in the 3rd release. The 2nd release is mostly new material but I'm actively working on it, and will contain about 3-4 game days worth of story. 3 days is going to take a toll on our weary couple, trust me.

I want each release to be of similar size as the first. I think quick, short updates ruin the immersion but I understand getting bored, frustrated, and forgetting about games with long update cycles. I don't want to promise a particular cadence but I'm setting milestones for a 4month update cycle. Sorry if that pours water and everyone's fire but compared to some of my favorite games, 4 months doesn't seem excessive to me.

All of this is great to hear. The approximate release cycle is fine with me. The first release was such high quality, I'm willing to wait for each update. I'm actually glad it's a kinetic novel because the story is very well-focused, and I wouldn't want it to veer off into multiple routes, that'll possibly decrease quality and definitely increase the length between releases. Knowing it's around 20% complete is good to know. I like having an idea of the length of the story and, in turn, its pacing. Can't wait for more! Also, I love the hard-hitting nature of the story - keep it up lol!

Would you please state why you choose to not go that route of donations and patronage. Your story, style, approach, responses are so well appreciated mate. Its always great to hear from you. I get where you're coming from about all three main characters having dislikable qualities, but I tend to view things from more of a "lesser evil" kind of perspective if some of the characters also have some redeeming qualities. Though it's arguable how much they can be redeemed, I think that Hutch and Vivian have some redeeming qualities, but I cannot say the same for Christian, who is a total sleazebag. I also have a hard time wishing for a bad ending for everyone, though I suppose Vivian getting knocked up would not necessarily be an altogether bad ending for Hutch (as he potentially could split with Vivian and have nothing to do with her if that were to happen).

There is no possible ending where Hutch and Vivian live happily ever after. Just doesn't fit in to the story.
Best scenario is Hutch and Vivian split, making Christian happy that he accomplished his mission, (i get the impression he gets off on breaking up relationships more than the sex)
Vivian ends up a high class escort to support herself. At some stage end ups sleeping with her son's friends (as clients). They tease the shit out of him, making him leave to another state to continue his studies. He lets her know how much he despises her, and cuts off all contact with her forever.
Hutch ends up with Addison, and they are expecting a new baby. Vivian finds out and breaks down completely knowing it was all 100% her fault.
Christian eventually runs out of luck and fucks the wrong wife. Husband ends up shooting Christian's dick off.

But that's not going to happen. This is a dark story. Probably going to be like the typical Jap NTR stories, only better written.

But how much more can Hutch take? At this point the damage is done. It will get to a point where indifference takes over. "Oh you fucked him again? that's nice dear. Anyway... nice weather we having. Oh you gave him anal while being passed his around him buddies like a jizz rag? Cool. Hmm, I think I might paint the living room, what do you think dear?"

Seeing some of the discussion here I'm heartened to know the dev is sticking to his guns and not softening the story for people's sensitivities. I will never understand people going to an NTR game and then wishing for it to be something more vanilla

Both of your guys suggestions would be entertaining as hell, and I'd love to see stuff like that in game that really throws the player's expectations for a loop, but I highly doubt we will, the fandom and writing are too stuck in the same old mold.

That'd be dark, but it also wouldnt be that out of character for this kind of story - the husband going postal is always on everyone's mind.

whereas, some out there plot like the secretary falling for hutch then they start warring with wife and christian, that would catch me by surprise.
