Like many others here, i would like to give my insights :
I think there is two directons where the author can go to :
- the "realistic" one : Vivian can rationalize all she wants, but now is thinking with her pussy. She will most probably consume herself in lust and little by little become a whore (in all senses of the term). We may see her being torn between her desire and her guilt, but from what we've seen, she doesnt love or respect her husband enough to not to put him in this torment. I don't think in the end Christian will keep her in the end, he has done this mutliple times and he's a serial homewrecker, Vivian would have played her part by this time. That's why i think Vivian will be the sorriest at the end, used and broken, loathed by her husband, having a terrible reputation in town and shunned by her family (especially her son). Maybe the funeral image included in the gui folder isnt one describing the funreal of a man...
- the plot one : i think SC Stories had built the dinner and night scene for us to ground for Hutch. That's why so many of us want a different ending than the usual NTR story. We've seen how much he has been broken by all that happened and some of us and want usto hate Christian and to a lesser extent Vivian. Maybe something will put in motion to put some coorective justice in this mess, but i honestly don't see how.
My speculation on the reason why Vivian cheated :
Vivian is clearly a woman who knows the effect she has on men : it's light, but it appears she's a bit on the flirty side. Her tatoos and piercings are not associated usually with the suburban housewife but even less with a high school teacher, nor the ways she dresses( in the country i live in (which is far from a taliban one), it could be valuably reproached to u as a teacher). When we see her meeting Christian she's willing to kiss him. Another element is during the kitchen events, Christian said nothing was keeping her from stepping out the room and eventual consequences are only in their head. I don't think Christian has blackmailed her, i think she had the choice and used the situation to do what she deeply wanted.
Finally a sidenote :
For all who thinks unironically about these alpha and beta things : Hutch is a weak man, that's beyond any discussion. Don't think That Christian is an alpha, even if the game wants to present him like this : his seduction process is beyond creepy (he may not blackmailed but sure use unealthy amount of pressure guven by his position. You know it's often talk about alphas in reference to the alpha wolf. Wolves pack are a family lead by the parents, so an alpha wolf is just a good family father. The beauty of our specy is that we all have something unique to give, so stay out the dystopian thinking.
