It definitely starts out as blackmail. Why else is she fucking him? She's worried about her husband losing his job obviously. Same story in "Onlyher" and "A Wife's Life". Maybe later she develops feelings for him which she of course denies. But this is nothing more than a blackmail story with perhaps a few twists with the hubby's reactions and her true feelings.Honestly i don't think he has blackmailed her. But the game has a blackmail tag, so maybe ? Anyway, blackmail or not, she's enjoying it way too much.
In the kitchen, Christian says :"Nothing has ever been between you and the door" and "Whatever consequences you think there are... they are all in your head, trust me". Iwould not be surprised if he had no pb taking her. But again, this bastard likes to fuck with people's mind and isnt trustworthy, so i'll wait the future explanation given by the dev.It definitely starts out as blackmail. Why else is she fucking him? I get what you mean and agree it's one possibility; however, don't we all have an "innermost being" that is different than who we really ultimately want to be? A person can have many sexual or aggressive impulses (and curiosities about experiences), but there's a lot more to life than satisfying momentary impulses, such as love and parenting. And no one person can be absolutely everything another individual may desire over time. But honestly even if someone brings Christian and his business down, I doubt Vivian will get back to Hutch after her innermost being has awakened.
Case in point: A relationship can only be new once. Thus, Hutch cannot give Vivian sexual novelty, at least not in terms of the sexual excitement one experiences when having sex with a new person. Vivian made the comment at one point about how long it had been since she had worn a certain nightgown for Hutch, and that the last time she did he was "a real animal that night." Sure, this might have been her embellishing to try to cheer him up, but I think she was referring to what really happened; otherwise, why fish the nightgown out to try to make love to her husband? Plus, Hutch was a younger man once (with greater sexual prowess than currently), and sex with his wife also would not be as new or exciting for him as it once was, even if he truly loves her.Hutch is an unassuming guy who gets 2 shocks, the threat to his job=family=lifestyle, and the threat to his marriage. Even though he is angered and shocked by Vivian’s behaviour he is still as at 0.2 digesting the past events and planning his future moves: firstly the open marriage to allow his wife not only to enjoy sex with another man but also in the hope that once the novelty is gone she will come back to him.
I think there's no denying that the boss is blackmailing her to some extent, regardless if he says it's all in her head. When she visits him the first time, he implies that he is going to fire her husband unless she attends dinner at his home. Then in the restroom (in order to coerce her into having sex), the boss mentions possibly having to lay off many people due to numbers being down at work, thereby trying to make her feel responsible not only for preserving her husband's job but also the jobs of others. The boss is a slimy sociopath who has manipulated a series of women into having sex with him, and he undoubtedly has moved on to the next after getting enough of what he wants, just one "conquest" after another. In the kitchen, Christian says :"Nothing has ever been between you and the door" and "Whatever consequences you think there are... they are all in your head, trust me".
Honestly, you may be right, and to be honest i hope you're right, i just wonder why if it's the case the dev chose to not show us this.I get what you mean and agree it's one possibility; however, don't we all have an "innermost being" that is different than who we really ultimately want to be? Although we don't see/hear the specifics of it, it's basically "let me fuck you, or I'll fire your husband". Very clear blackmail, but being the manipulator that we see in various scenes, the majority of it is probably more emotional blackmail. Christian has confused and twisted the whole situation in her mind, to a point where it's actually very straightforward, but she sees it as anything but. He probably even did the whole initial blackmail without explicitly blackmailing her, she just been tricked into it by his manipulative words and actions - he's probably not actually said "let me fuck you, or I'll fire your husband" but she's read between the lines (correctly, IMO). This ties in with the implicit threat in the bathroom as mentioned a couple of posts up.Honestly i don't think he has blackmailed her. But the game has a blackmail tag, so maybe ? Anyway, blackmail or not, she's enjoying it way too much.
I think it's going too far to say they are both fooling themselves about loving each other. Over two decades of marriage. A son together. Both seem to be concerned about the other and become genuinely distressed about the situation. She has repeatedly defended her husband, despite ultimately giving in to the boss, and he seems to truly want her to be happy, despite not wanting her to cheat. I'm willing to believe that they may be deceiving themselves to some extent, such as having hidden desires, but it does not seem to me that they do not love each other. Both say they love each other and both are fooling thenselves.
Dev said something about working on another game to develop his skills, which he could then put into practice with MHB. I can't remember the details, but I seem to think a title was given for that game though, and it wasn't "The Funeral."We now know that that funeral pic is from another, abandoned game. I would be curious what that was and why he had given up on it. I always find these creative decisions fascinating, just iin case the dev would be prepared to tell more.
Out of the 2 the wife is the only one getting anything out of it even if its reluctant she is enjoying the pleasure. Hutch is not.I think it's going too far to say they are both fooling themselves about loving each other. Over two decades of marriage. A son together. What did you think Hitch would do, turn into Jack Nicholson in “the shining” and chop down that locked bedroom doorIt's just the beginning of what Hutch has to face with and there is absolut nothing he can do to avoid her transformation after he denied himself to reclaim her.
Now, Vivian would only consider a "normal life" with Hutch if he turns into a cuck and there are no signs that this will ever happen.
This story is just not about Hutch. He's a side character. He has set no bounderies, no rules except the one for her being home at night.
Both say they love each other and both are fooling thenselves.
OH F...........................more,more,more, MMMMMMMMORRRREEEEE!It is astonishing what this KN has triggered. So many reactions in a short time. The DEV is good. Good story, good renders...
Makes you curious for more.
