I've read quite a few posts mentioning how they believe the scene in the garden made no sense and/or was rushed and some people saying it was simply because of blackmail.

For the record I don't think my view of the scene is any more valid than any other but this is my perspective.

First of all I want to give a massive pat on the back to the Dev, what a fantastic fucking job they've done. I've played some bangers with amazing writing, but I've never played a VN with this level
of thought put into the dialogue- gestures and characterization. It's what gives me the perspective of the scene that I find many people don't share.

So let's start from the beginning.

This is something I noticed very early in the VN did anyone else? It may seem harmless once or twice but this is a constant through the story. She pets him and strokes him way too much not to be intentional. Can you imagine her treating Christian like this? No because Christian takes charge and leads does that remind you of anyone?

I don't doubt that Vivian loves Hutch but you don't do this to someone you respect as a man.

Vivian is strong willed, bullheaded, overconfident and she likes to take charge.

She's been in a relationship with Hutch for over 20 years and lets face it, he's submissive or at the very least meek.
She doesn't see a problem with their relationship dynamic and that's just fine....

( Honestly there are so many renders that show he's more than a handsome guy to her, but due to the autoplay it's a pain in the ass to show them all )

Long story short Christian does what Hutch doesn't. He commands respect.
Vivian hasn't just met a handsome man she's met someone she see's as above her and she loves it.

Again this is just my perspective as to why it didn't feel rushed or out of nowhere.

Being tactile with the ones you love is not abnormal, it’s not treating them like a pet. It shows love in a very gentle way which is what Vivian shows to Hutch. After all the couple have been together for a very long time. But with Christian it’s all about lust. Don’t get lost in the dominant or dominated themes, what happens from their first meeting is a very strong physical attraction that needs an outlet. I agree with you about the dress. It was a message and she opted ‘in’. Subconsciously she was ready to cheat.

Vivian is a woman torn between love for her husband of 22 years and a new found lust for Christian. One is safe and mundane, while the other is new and exciting.
I think that one of the things that makes this writing so good, is that there isn't one thing that is the driving force behind her decisions with Christian. It's part thrill and attraction, part blackmail and also another part wanting to help Hutch keep his job so feeling like she is doing this for him. She can justify it in her own mind.

I think a big part of why it was such a shock for most people on here is that they are used to the usual slow build up blue-balls formula. Where we are teased with this stuff for years before anything happens, many games even get abandoned before they get to this.

This game is killing it with comments, already at 51 pages while other very popular games released last year only have double that. It has been almost a week!

This dev has the potential to be the best, I wouldnt mind checking out the original non ntr game he has mentioned working on before this.

Now about the game.
Again, the husband is a slug cuckold, and the wife is a whore. But they are also stupid and very led. The boss sold them both the idea that this is normal, and they agreed with it. What nonsense.
I do not believe a single word my wife says about "I love my husband, he is my life and only he is needed". After all, she fucks the boss over and over again. I am sure that the scene in the garden was on her initiative, or she did not resist much there either. This story has one ending - the wife will fuck everyone except her husband, and he will continue to be a cuckold and suffer.
I want to see in the ending that the husband finally sticks his head out of his ass, leaves his wife and goes to the boss's niece. The boss, realizing that he no longer needs his "wife", leaves her and she is left alone with the understanding that she herself has ruined her life. In his wildest dreams, the husband goes crazy from pain and grief and kills the boss (or even the wife). BUT the ending will most likely be different and the wife will leave her husband because from the first minutes it is clear that she likes the boss and is attracted to him, even when she talks about her love for her husband, she still laughs at the boss's words, giggles and smiles at him.
The visuals here are at a decent level, the scenes are well staged. But I don't believe the heroes (especially the wife). If the author's idea was to blow up asses and hurt, then he coped with this task 100%. Because I almost fell into depression from this game, because the realization that there are a lot of such stories in life, and there, unfortunately, neither of the spouses knows about the betrayal of the other for a very long time.

Regarding the Vivian, it's honestly hard to judge her character really, in one scene she is all aroused with Christian's flirt and boldness than again crying after every 10 dialogues. She gets pleasure with Christian but than regret on infidelity, so its really hard to judge her character. With current chapter some can argue she was blackmailed by Christian OR she was aware of the consequences of her each decision but still cheat because its her nature.

I think she suffers not so much from cheating, but so much from the fact that she will be caught, that it will kill Hutch. They always cry only because they were caught. I think it will be much easier for her from now on, because Hutch "allowed it". Cheating is a choice, and I think she made it at the very beginning. Other people described it well above.

Interesting suggestion but in the Vivian and Christian dynamic it seems like he is the dominant one, not her.

I think she knew from the start what Christian wanted from her, and she made that choice, convincing herself that she had no other choice. Although it was obvious that she wanted it, she just couldn't admit it to herself.
