Spot on! He has admitted to her some of his achievements, and even knowing this she is allowing herself to be played by him. Not something you would assume a devoted wife of 22 years would do, even for the weak premise of saving hubbie's job. We have to suspend our disbelief in order to have a story though.

Some people wrote that Hutch is weak and spineless, but sharing his wife can be seen as strong also.
You need a strong character and will power to sacrifice something you love for the greater good.

This is a useless and senseless sacrifice. I guess in the stories context, I don't it means what you think it means.

Edit: not every marriage ends because of an affair, many couples survive it and they decide to move along.
(so the cheated one must be weak all the time in your opinion?)
Normally it's a sign of strength to forgive the partner and to decide to hold on to the marriage.

Marriages might survive infidelity if there was remorse and admission of guilt and an attempt to rebuild. They rarely survive a loss of trust, and blatant lying.
And here in this story we have nothing but deceit, she lied to his face constantly, and they both know it. How could he possibly trust anything she says she will or wont do?
As far as I have heard, even open relationships have rules, and would not survive dishonesty and lack of loyalty.

If you press the middle button on the mouse the one that make the text disappear from the screen it locks the screen with the pic you want... that's what worked for me...

Really enjoying this so far. I think this is the first VN that I really dug from start to finish.

just want to make sure that I'm not missing any material. The version I played is over after the conversation where Hutch and Vivian opened the marriage, but I've seen some renders of a hotel room scene. Are those just individual renders or has an update been released since then? Thanks.

It's like BorgiaBou said! Press on h or the middle mouse button at the video sequence and the video switches to a loop.

You weren't missing anything. There is sound to underline the atmosphere on special scenes.

I would not call this a slow burn. Thankfully this isn't the usual type of game where it drags things out and blue-balls you for multiple updates. As for games with as good writing as this, honestly no not really.

you can just go into the data file and see the video.. go to game/images/video... I Think they're arranged in sequence , this scene is under d02/flashback01ani
