Are men making these games (apart from the visual aspect of course) in order to design female characters they think they can finally understand and mold according to their wishes or does in the contrary the best erotic impact go hand in hand with this feeling of not understanding, of almost alienation? Aren't the best scenes those (like in this game) where one asks how can she do this?
I sometimes wish the female members of the forum (because you mention the ratio here) would grant us more explanations and insights in how they explicitly differ from the male perspective. I often feel I have to extract this aspect from the grinding and latent conflicts - but that can also be fun. Then again - maybe there is nothing surprising or new or intriguing there which I didn't know all to well already.

i feel like 9 out of 10 men in this forum when they see there wife bent over the table outside would have done something, they would have left an packed there bags going to a hotel waiting for divorce, flipped out on boss an viv, beat up boss.. something.. so when hutchy just watched going thru mental anguish thats when the VN went to "fantasyland" .. not real , make believe, and at that rate now anything in this VN is really just wild imagination of the dev and hutchy getting destroyed for are entertainment an debate as to why , how , what .. i love this VN because it is the first VN to start at the scene of the crime.. all the others make you wait ten years to build up to it.. this VN is taking the backward approach which quite unique and refreshing .. i love it.

my way of resolving this conundrum is simply to take real life examples in such complex situations where the story is almost believable. and in doing so sometimes the liberties taken by the dev clash with the logic of real-life and the ensuing debates of possibilities only limited by one's imagination(and that we have in abundance here)

i'm surprised duke... no mention on hutchy cucky at all.., i would be agreeing with you on that about 9/10 men statement ... but after reading adhd classic's posts im not sure... if its related to the genx and millenial age group then would completely agree.... not so sure about the rest....like gen z,alpha and beta(just googled them don't quote me on this}. dunno if many remember the one and only choice you are given in this kn... the option to change names and the way its introduced that really annoyed me and then when i started reading the moment vivian googled and came up with a plan thats my view of when fantasyland started in this vn. it definitely has a different take. dunno if ill be blocked or banned for this but navigating the rift was another good vn/kn which i think is abandoned with its own unique aspect... there are more but most are either abandoned or removed from this site. i assume you are taking shot at awam with the 10 year remark. won't comment regarding the vn other than its good so far.... as i have said in a previous post some start out strong and just lose out as they progress. i just want this to be completed and then i would make a review. till then fingers crossed this kn will deliver the goods.

one more thing, what i notice not to many people talk about is how vivian comes out of bedroom wearing his clothes ,no bra , no panties lol, like hutchy wouldnt see that or notice but deny everything... then proceeds to keep his clothes hidden next to her the drawer and smells the shirt reminding her of the boss by smelling the boss's scent from that night and repeatedly looks at shirt in drawer through the VN .. clearly showing she is falling hard for the boss

Problem is, men a far more prepared to and interested in asking these questions, in thinking in the framework of gender differences. Women normally hate that, that's at least my well founded experience. They like to hink in terms of being "human" and being a "good human being". So male questions in this direction typically end in a conversation solely among men. That's what I meant with "having to extract" them from conflicts in this forum, they remain always implicit from the female side, seldom explicit.

i think someone mentioned this (or i have it in one of points on porngame logic) vivian coming out of the bedroom and hutch not questioning in... think i posted this in the first week i think and regards to her weeping in the shower about her actions and to what she did after.... smelling the shirt and keeping it in the bedside drawer as a momento(which signals thats vivian is tempted to continue her fun with the boss). like i mentioned in my earlier quote to your statement... from the start that dev wanted to make it so that the readers dislike vivian. that's how i see it.

the vivian becoming a complete slut here is my thoughts. the general premise for any ntr story... the end result is wife changes her love from her husband to the person corrupting her. in this case from hutch to chrisitan .... which starts as sex which leads to desire and then in the end becomes love.

my only question to this is are you protector and provider. if yes to even one then you be the person in prison. even the most timid man has a limit. and i have seen that in real life. so being fine with any is never a good option.

honestly the only way to have a redemption arc to the story where they stay together is for hutchy to become a full blown cuck that enjoys watching his wife get banged.. whether hutch is depressed, weak, strong, smart he is only going to stay for so long before he leaves and divorces unless they become swingers or he is a cuck..

I am hoping for much the same as you. I feel that corrupting Vivian to the point of her not having any inner struggle about it, to where her focus becomes entirely hedonistic and her legs will open for just about anyone, would cheapen the foundation of the story as it currently stands.
