I would say it depends on how extreme it is but on the other side this is why stockholm syndrome is a thing , yes it's not a hostage situation but I would imagine some of the theory to it still applies

However, every blackmailer pursues a plan with the aim of gaining an advantage from it and putting the other party under pressure.
Christian could read Vivian from the begining when she melted away right in front of him. He uses the knowledge he has gained to influence her.
With Christian manipulating Vivian and mentioning the loss of Huutch's job if she doesn't give in to work on the little project conditions for blackmail are met.

To let Vivian say that Christian was just posturing and not giving her a veilled threat is the fact that she demanded being it the last time and all the debts from Huutch are paid which Christian accepted, knowing full well that he could easily manipulate her again.

I played that before and wasn't sold on it, but I saw last night that there was an update, so I downloaded it for another try. It does amuse me some of the titles - My Husband's Boss, My Boss's Wife, My Brother's Wife, etc. I'll be honest, it's not even a trend I'm upset with, it makes it easy to spot the games, and I'll always give them a look to see if they're any good for me!

Another random thought on this one... What if Addison isn't just trying to get Hutch alone because she has feelings and wants to be close to him, what if there's another reason?

That's because I added it myself to make the suggestion I was thinking of. I didn't specify this though, so although it looks slightly different (I did it through Photoshop instead of editing the script in game and screenshotting it) it's probably not obvious!

I agree to some of the things you say. He knew from experience what kind of woman Vivian is. And how to handle her. But my point is even before the threat she let him put her in a compromising position, locking the door and giving him access to put his leg between her.
He said "What if I insist" to which she replied that their debt are paid. And he knew for now she needed an excuse which he gave her. The whole thing was a what if scenario he presented and knew that she will give in, cause she wanted to give in. Why else she didn't leave the building after declaring that she didn't want to work for him. Cause she wanted to happen something and she knew subconsciously that he can change her mind though she really wanted to work for him so can be near him it's just Hutch attitude in the weekend and fear of her marriage made her doubt her want. And how did Christian knew she was in the bathroom unless she told her or he watched from camera.

In the kitchen scene Christian actually told her the threat is in her head.

And every time he is clear that he isn't forcing her to do anything, she can always leave.
And the last time thing feels she is telling it more to herself otherwise why would she needs him to promise that. Cause she knows she can't control herself around him.
It confirms more when she wanted Hutch to be her guard dog but we know from kitchen scene how it ended

She accepted the open marriage pretty quickly and started to daydream

She stopped crying & was actually pretty exited about it it's like yay everything is now going the way I wanted.

So No I don't think she actually felt pressured or gave in to blackmail. Even if it's blackmail then it's like those Jap VN blackmail where the bull blackmails wife with her cleavage picture (and later she becomes a porn actress).

She never felt guilty for cheating, she always feared for the consequences till the update ends with open marriage.
