I wanted to come back to the scene in chapter 2 when Viv and Christian come home from the restaurant and she starts sucking his dick. Hutch is already outside the window watching the scene unfold. He bows his head in disillusion as if it's just confirmation that there's not much left to salvage.

What could give it a boost is finally a real conversation (not coded words) between Hutch and Viv and for everyone to take a stand. I don't even know if they'll make it...

i think we are all looking into hutch's mind a little too far lol.. he might just be a simple man who is confused and destroyed . and quite possibly blaming himself for everything that has happened. he is clearly depressed and holding in his feelings. he went from feeling like he was the man of the household to a pathetic man that needs his wife to bang everyone to keep his job.. the only question is will he let the depression consume and run ... or will he stay an fight ? although i dont know what he would be fighting for anymore because vivian seems like she has completely went off the rails and is gone forever ...
He needs to do something tho honestly, because if he does just end up staying a pathetic little passive bitch, I'm gonna be disappointed...The game needs some kind of drama and twists, and I think they would be good from him.

Or otherwise it's just gonna be Viv being the town bicycle, which I think will get pretty boring fast enough...

Another explanation for Hutch's behaviour would be that he's finding a way out. From the first night at boss's home, he knows his marriage is over. He disappeared a whole day to figure how to do it. But he wants to take Vivian to the cleaners, so he needs proof of her infidelity and moving his money to protect himself and find another job, another house. These things take time. He agrees to let her see Chrsitian to gather proofs more easily. In the chapter 2 i had the sense of someone was looking through the window durinng front yard sex.

But it may too logical, because SC Stories has shown us a lot of "fuck the logic" moments.
I would like this scenario, however, a similar one was already depicted in Vivian's dream where she suddenly received divorce papers. Thanks to that I am not sure the author would turn the same/similar idea into reality - meaning that Hutch pretends everything is cool and all while his is preparing a thorough decapitating strike.

I think we can trust SCS to drive the story in an exciting, interesting, intriguing way. Even if it will still be just a simple porn-story.

If Vi becomes a total slut, it will be presented in the right way, and no one will doubt that it was meant to be. It will be the best whore on that side of the ocean :)

He has to take down Christian ... his job will always be in jeopardy or at the end of this if he is still left standing ... leave for a new life.

(I was going to quote-post this as a response about the conversation that needs to be had, but it would be unfair to throw this wall of text at the other person!)

We don't know how Chapter 3 is going to play out yet, whether it will continue looking forward like the first two instalments, or if it will go back and show us some of what Hutch was doing during Chapters 1 and 2. What we do know though, is that at some point (presumably the start, but I guess that depends on the answer to my first sentence), Vivian has something she needs to tell Hutch, and it can't be done via text.

There are a couple of reasons for that last bit - one, saying it needs to be face-to-face is an excuse (not that she needs one) to avoid staying the night like Christian asked her to. But two, quite simply, it's probably going to be a lot, in terms of words and probably emotions, and it wouldn't be fair or practical to do it via text message.

Some people have suggested that Vivian is going to tell Hutch that she is Christian's now, and that will be the end of the marriage. Other than knowing that Hutch and Vivian are at the very least "visually" still together in previews for Chapter 3, I don't think this is the conversation she is planning to have.

I could be well off base, but I think Vivian is going to tell Hutch pretty much everything, in an attempt to get everything in the open, ripping off band-aids so they can begin the healing process. He said in Chapter 1 that he doesn't want the details, but I'm not talking about the intricacies of how many times and in what positions she has fucked Christian, etc. I'm talking history. I think the talk with Sunshine has resonated with Vivian, and in particular the bit about being honest with each other:

Code:
Vivian: "Do you think this kind of thing could work with me and my husband?"
Sunshine: "I, uh... I don't know. You're fighting an uphill battle from the start."
Sunshine: "You and your husband jumped in without knowing how deep the water was. You're both in danger of drowning now."
Sunshine: "If you want to try and make it work, the first step is to have a complete and open discussion. He can't close his eyes and ignore it."
Sunshine: "You both need to talk about your feelings, your fears, your expectations."
Sunshine: "A set of rules needs to be established and once it is, it MUST be followed no matter what. Without trust, it's doomed to fail."
Vivian: "I don't know if Hutch is ready for that conversation. I don't know if I am."
Sunshine: "He needs to have a say in things. He needs to some level of control."
Now the above is specifically in response to Vivian asking Sunshine about their swinging lifestyle, so that's not exactly what she's looking at with Hutch (we presume), but the answer is still applicable to their situation. I think by the end of the episode Vivian is ready to have that conversation, or at least as ready as she will ever be.

I think she'll maybe tell him the story about the older French guy and how she had more experience than she let him know about, and what her mother had told her, which ultimately led to Vivian hiding that part of her life from him after she "closed the chapter on it":

Code:
Vivian: "I wanted him to respect me, to believe I was a chaste woman, so I made him wait... a really long time.
And I never did certain things so he would think I was a lady. "
Vivian: "Like... I could take an entire penis in my mouth, but when I was about to do that with Hutch for the first time, I froze."
Vivian: "I envisioned him asking 'where did you learn to do that'... so I pretended I couldn't and never did again... "
Vivian: "Yeah, but I was afraid he'd lose respect for me... for doing something... unladylike."
The same with the almost sex in the toilets at that Christmas family dinner.

And I think she'll tell Hutch some truths about both of them as they are now, again taking from the conversation she had (in the bar, this time) with Sunshine:

Code:
Sunshine: "It takes an incredibly strong person to set aside jealousies and watch their partner take pleasure from another..."
Sunshine: "If you try to make him out to be the bad guy, you'll end up hating him and that WILL ruin your marriage."
Sunshine: "Everything you feel is normal. You are a woman at her sexual peak who obviously has some unfulfilled needs."
Sunshine: "~ Softly ~ It's going to be okay..."
And ultimately, I think she'll tell Hutch about her conversation with Sunshine, possibly including the reason she was out there and met her in the first place, and even possibly including how the night ended (though probably without too much, if any, detail).

She may also tell Hutch how that night at Christian's got out of control, giving us all the answer to that one, although for us it was touched upon in the conversation between Vivian and Christian at the Asian restaurant. The important part of it is not the action, but the build-up to the action, the frame of mind she was in with everything coming to a crescendo - the (heavily implied) threat of Hutch losing his job, Vivian's largely self-imposed state of sexual unfulfillment, visiting Christian and him testing her, Hutch's "safe person" versus Christian's "wild and dangerous", and how it all became a perfect storm...

The reason why I believe that Vivian will let Hutch know that she is now with Christian is the images I posted earlier. The "you won" and "I'm with you and I won't pretend I'm not" that Vivian says to Christian makes me think that she sees where she stands now and who she wants to be with. Also the look on her face when she is laying there with him.
Could there be something that causes Vivian to have a change of heart or chicken out? Sure. Maybe she gets back home and Hutch has made some small effort? Cooking for her or something which makes her think twice.

I think maybe consequences will start to catch up to Vivian, causing her to reconsider her stance. She had it easy for now. I see 3 types of elements :

- Hutch's consequences : We have explored extensively what they may be.
- Reputational hazard : Vivian, this idiot, has litlle regard for discretion and it may catch up to her.
- My favorite, her own delusions : I think she will realize that Christian meant every word he said during the final scenes of this update. He will use her again and in a not so satisfying way for her, or asituation where the shame and the pain will outgrow the satisfaction.

Not sure if someone mentioned this game "Darker" as being something like this story. It also deals with a wife who must try to bring in clients for her husbands company, but instead of it being the husbands boss, its the husands bosses son "who is the rich playboy of the company" and the husband is not a cuck, hes into public sex and sharing. heres the link for it, a new update is due anyday now (19) VN - Ren'Py - Darker [Ch. 1 Part 7] [Director Unknown] | F95zone | Adult Games | Comics | Mods | Cheats

Imagine this whole game just ends up being Christian and Vivians love story...:ROFLMAO:

And the ending is just them "falling TRULY in love with each other " and getting together.

While Hutch just crumbles into being a broken depressed alchoholic, left alone to rot or some shit...

I would mald a little ngl...:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Nah the wheels will come off soon enough for Vivian. Christian wouldn't look twice at Vivian if she wasn't Hutch's wife. The fun for him is in the hunt and the conquest. He has even admitted to Vivian about all of the past women he has seduced, especially married women. Where exactly does she think these women are now?

i will say i agree with you.. the first episode had emotion in the characters, inner turmoil , confusion which made the story somewhat believable and very captivating..
Now i often refer to vivian as a hoe . well she is now but in the episode i felt she was lost in temptation and her love for helping hutch and her family. it brought a great dynamic to her role.
Then comes episode 2 where in the beginning she still has that struggle but you can see it is wearing on her. we see hutch trying to step up but not working out.
end of the episode she has fully given herself to christian. she has slept with multiple men in like 2 days . had her booty de-virginized.
For me this is where the VN turns into a bangfest. there isnt anymore realism to it simply because there is no more emotion for the marriage or hutch. vivian has clearly moved on . with hutch's opening the marriage she didnt waste a single second exploring any boundary so now it make the first episode seem very hard to believe .
while the realism and writing are great this is going to be how many ways and people will bang vivian now because the marriage is truly over.
vivian doesnt want hutch anymore and hutch clearly doesnt want to bang her anymore . no more emotion just how long before the divorce . idk just my take on it but who knows what will happen lol

One thing I would add is even if Vivian decides/changes her mind and stays with hutch no doubt she will trip herself up in one of her many lies or she will mutter something wild under her breath and hutch will actually hear it

Also if Vivian does end it with Christian he's obviously going to tell hutch all her dirty little secrets, hell he might tell him anyway regardless of what happens

My hunch is that wife has learned something from the swinging couple. It isn't necessary for her to debase herself with an asshole in order to have good sex. That could lead somewhere.
