We should drop the term "open marriage" once and for all. The situation here is asymmetrical - he isn't allowed to do anything, he doesn't want it himself and she denies him that explicitely in the conversation with Sunshine. It's a euphemism, it veils the reality here.

They never explicitly discussed this. Maybe Hutch will get the verbal ok in the beginning of next update.

Edit: Seriously though, do we really think she will okay Hutch being open with the marriage as well? She's been so dead set against it - even though she was the first one to bring it up, back in Ch1. I kind of think that Vivian will be the only woman getting fucked, unless it's a situation involving Vivian, like with Sunshine. Generally speaking (although that term doesn't tend to apply to this game), the wife gets all the sex, and no one (dev or player) cares about the husband getting any, so he's left on the sidelines.

I think Vivian is in a particular type of affair fog. She really thinks she can have it all. The dangerous and badboy lover and the caring husband. Look at how she reacts when Sunshine suggest Hutch to explore other women. In ch.1 she was still connected with reality when she thought Hutch didn't know. Honestly now, it resembles to many stories of "open marriage" initiated by the woman : she suggests it, pressures for it, the husband caves reluctantly, she gets chain fucked while the husband is suffering at home. Then she finds out that the men who were funcking her don't seek anything else from her. She then remembers she has a husband and realizes while she was getting fucked he has mourned the relationship. Now, he's the one going out late...

I edited my post above to include my thoughts on that too. It would be a bold move from the dev to include Addison and all the (admittedly small) hints, and then not to have anything with her. On the one hand, I like to see that because it's just normal. Not every woman, even those who are clearly at least a bit interested, end up going anywhere. On the other hand though, of course I want to see what Addison's got!

Totally agree on this. I don't think Vivian will "share" her new fun with her husband.
As I said previously, I don't see Hutch rebel (well at least not so fast, maybe in final chapter...). For whatever reason, I see Hutch reluctantly accept his role in this tragedy. Dev said chap3 will see Hutch deal with limits, what he will accept the others do, and what they can do to him... This is when the real pain begin. And I'm eager to see that.

Yeah, I think you're right about Vivian being the only woman who's gonna get any (and Hutch won't be among them). I think this next chapter is just gonna be Hutch coming to terms with that also. I think we're getting into that part of the game where we're gonna watch (mainly now?) from the POV of Hutch, watching Vivian get ran threw tbh, by Christian, The BBC Student, The Twins, maybe that Mechanic, etc etc.

If SC Stories watn to mae an interesting story, at some point Vivian will have to experiences consequences of her choices. Considering the recklessness of her actions, it would be very low probability to see the opposite. And it's basic story telling, a story without events countering other events is not interesting to follow. But maybe SCS just wants to do aonther pron game, so just wait and see.

Hard to argue that it's gonna be anything else for me now then, of watching from Hutch's POV of his marriage collapsing while he does fuck all, and Vivian just keeps hoeing around on him...

What kinda twists does SC have planned I wonder... Like genuinely what else could this be...

I still think there is more to Hutch that we have not seen. Dev said he was writing a non typical novel. We already see Hutch is not a Cluck ... I think we may see he may be be a quiet guy... However, He may be a vengenace is mine.... Just like a sniper.. you don't here the bullet that kills you. Now, I do no think he will kill Christian, But, I do think he will ruin him. Now... Does he let Vivian go down with that ship ??? We,ll see. Just my thought...

To be honest. The only one I really see going down is Viv right now and the reason I'm saying this because I hope it will be somewhat special. BUT it looks a lot like a normal NTR story. We can only speculate.

I see where your coming from but on the other side I just don't see hutch going for /accepting the cycle of her saying one thing and doing another and essentially shitting all over there marriage I think he will have a breaking point

Now with that being said that breaking point may just be that he leaves her and gets on with his life and nothing more comes of it but I genuinely don't see it being a trouple situation or a genuine cuck situation one of the two is going to leave the other in my opinion
