That said, I understood what was going on and how it works, I was just asking if there was a way to make it optional. Sometimes I like porn logic, sometimes I don't. I'm just going to continue appreciating the fantastic effort that's been done so far. There's nothing wrong with it, imo, I was just curious. I'd throw money at their crowd funding if I had any to spare, and I don't do that lightly.

I just tried to tell you in an elegant way... (helping also other guys that read the thread) that you'd better not change the code of this game because he worked very hard on it and that coding was created specifically by the director of this cinematic work.

I'd like to point out that you're the one in this case who is making noise (you usually comment on the game like me but not in this case) and the one who isn't commenting on the game that the developer invited everyone to talk about.
But what are you talking about here?
Are you talking about my or someone else comments?
Or are you talking about the comments that drove the developer away from here long before I arrived to comment and support SC Stories exactly as he wants...
If you think he wanted suggestions about the plot from you or others, you're the one who's wrong... re-read what he wrote, maybe this time you'll understand better.

Where have I been?
After pushing to release Chapter 2 and then having a lot of negative comments and review bombs I had to step away for a while

Just for the record... I was shocked to read that there was someone that was commenting negatively the Chaper 2 that was the first one I downloaded thinking that CH1 was included

You guys need to let it be. Everybody has an opinion. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE it will not change the opinion. Do not argue the point to where it pisses off the rest of us. WHICH IT HAS ! Get a grip. I think the Dev would read this and get pissed off also. This is not what he intended, this type of discussion.... most of which is personnel and not directly related to the game.

The developer post I quoted is dated July 29, and the dev has been absent since June 6.
My first post in this thread dates back to June 7.
As you can see if you search for 88stanford88 posts Here's the proof that I wasn't the one who drove the developer away... on the contrary, maybe I contributed a little to his return..
I also read your negative comments about CH2 in your posts.
SC Stories took a break because after pushing him to release the CH2 someone including you started to write negative comments, so I'll ask you a direct question.

packard1928 Are you sure you have never written negative comments about the marvelous second chapter of "My Husband's Boss"?
I certainly never have! ...I await your answer.

For the record in my opinion CH2 is better than CH1 but the first chapter is essential for the storyline ...
The 2 chapters are both very good and the positive thing is that, being standalone games, they can be played without following a chronological order...
I started with CH2 and enjoyed CH1 as if it were a flashback, so even reading it afterwards helped me understand the whole story better.

I'm not finished with the first chapter yet and I searched but I didn't see anything related to my question in the search so I'll just ask, sorry if I missed something already answered.

Is it possible to make the auto advance optional? If so, would it be difficult to do? I ask because it's an interesting idea but sometimes I just wanna click but if I do that and it skips an auto section then something could be missed. If it's not possible or more trouble than it's worth then no worries, it's still a fantastic effort so far and I'll still follow it through to the end. I just figure there's no harm in asking.

If you want to pause the automatic progress, just press the "H" key. I recommend not using it on your first playthrough, as some scenes are intentionally made to pass quickly. But the second time around, it's interesting to see some images and animations more slowly , especially in chapter 1.

Although it seemed to me that you also agreed that CH1 was better but evidently I was wrong I confused you with someone else... anyway you see how clarifying one's doubts even with a wrong question helps to know each other better and maybe even become like friends?
I think it is always better to clarify even with question that starts from our mistake in judgment ... especially when you find a person like me who always admits their mistakes.

I understand what you mean, but you can't try to change other people mind... it would just be another opinion, in this case, your opinion that they are putting themselves on a high horse...
me for example being a orchestra conductor I tend by my personal character and also by work to put myself on a high horse.

it is precisely the desire to change other people's way of thinking that starts wars.

I teach music and have students, so I'm used to explaining what artists were like... Do you know about Mozart's life? I'm sure you've seen or read something about it.

On this site, there are stories that offend the sensibilities of some cultures... and therefore we see comments that are clearly against Vivian's behavior, even though she has rational reasons for using her feminine wiles to convince THE BOSS OF HER HUSBAND not to fire him...

Or maybe not agree. Maybe it is not simply a matter of culture. Some wish to see Wife descend into depravity. Is that a cultural thing? What culture hopes for that? I's say the descent into depravity thing is more of a niche porn thing, like harem or incest porn.

Are you talking about people again and not the game? When people bring wishes like that to the game, how can we counter those wishes and remain talking about the game? It makes no impression on them if we say the game does not support what they want.

Instead they mount lists of pics from the game that by themselves seem to justify what they want, while ignoring other parts of the game that clearly tell us the SC intends for us to understand no such thing.

And then off we go. luckily the pic lists have faded a way a little for the time being.

This one doesn't really give much away, there are a couple sneaks from this evening's 'garden party' already out there. I just like the composition of it. The emotion of it.

On that note, every sneak peak that is already out there is included in this next chapter. The red dress, the garden party, cigarette smoking man... everything not tied to Ch1 or Ch2 is in this next chapter. Maybe someone can repost the full collection for the newer members of the thread who haven't seen all my posts or missed the sneak peaks at the end of Ch1 after I removed them. Also, let me clarify when I said I was removing some content. Characters already written into the story are part of the story and those arcs will be completed. I don't want really want to say more than that for fear of creating new controversies.

Thanks SC, it really appreciate this. But you could probably expect that whatever emotion you put into that pic will be ignored and discounted by those who think she is despicable and deserves ultimate degradation.
