It makes her doing what we all do who have jobs. We exchange the hours of our life for money, often for just enough to have dinner, and a place to sleep and return the next day and do the same thing over and over.
If she were to get a pimp or start standing on a street corner approaching stopped cars and soliciting, that would make her a whore, and probably making more money than many of us do.

Are you talking about Christian paying her for that old dude in the hotel room? If so, I don't think she did that for money. Just look at how surprised she was when he paid her, she wasn't expecting it. IMO, this whole game so far, can be put down as happening because she's having a little "sexual awakening" that Christian has started. That's it. Not for money, not for her husband, and definitely not for her fucking marriage. Only her own selfish pleasures.

Could be. It does seem that sex between Wife and Boss has been better than either expected. Which sets up the internal conflict with Wife, she did not intend to be overwhelmed by how good it is, and there is some chance, at least, that Boss might decide to keep her, when he did not keep any of his previous victims.
All speculation though. Not a bit of certainty anywhere.

I see what you are implying, but it is not a cut and dried “she prostituted” herself. That was not her motivation - sex for money. She certainly doesn’t see herself that way. It was clearly not planned. She thought a little flirting etc would appease Christian. She was wrong.
Here's the first clue: Wife & Boss did it up to 8 times that night at his house depending on how you count, the kitchen?. Six in his bedroom with Husband listening as they both vocalized great pleasure rght up to dawn. Under no circumstances, would casual or money motivated sex amount to that. No matter how you want to interpret this game, include that. Among other clues.

I'm not implying anything, it was a clear choice for her, money, where her husband keeps his job and salary, or morals.
She could have walked away at any point.
This is Boss's manipulation. He wants her to stop telling him he is an asshole for one thing. In context, it was never really true. Boss also wants her to think she actually chose him, and nothing he might have done had anything to do with it. You will continue to choose me, won't you?
There are limits, as she told him at the end of chpt 2. You are free to discount anything she says, of course.

Yeah, but this isn't prostitution - this is financially Motivated Sex extortion - Vivian is actually the victim here and was put between a rock and a hard place, and yes, she could have walked away, but essentially, she does the wrong thing for the right reason...
Nothing of that kind. She is in no dependent relation to the boss at all, no force, no intimidation, nothing. She even put his dress on before. You can't take (fake) juridical categories to make her a victim and in the next sentence give her agency on a moral level.
