Really? I was under the impression that the release window was "late fall", which would be November-December. Eight days into the season would not be "late fall".

He origionally was saying 4 mo delivery. so oct 6th is that.. But I think he also came back with he was running late.... THat said.. I am not sure . I hope maybe later this month... but maybe not...

That was the original plan but that timeline has been superseded. At the moment, we have no solid release schedule, all we really know is what was at the end of the Ch2 release, which is why people are talking about fall.

Packard1928 is a little too optimistic and refuses to understand that the sooner the next chapter is released, the shorter the content will be, or there will be fewer details and more text to explain the characters' emotions.
This developer's style is to create hundreds of images to describe a scene, which you can also see from the size of each chapter, which includes thousands of images.
So, in my opinion, the date written at the end of chapter 2 could even be delayed... because the developer is not producing this story to make money... he is only producing a product of higher quality than the average game on this site, so until chapter 3 is perfect, it will not be released, and I predict that it will weigh more than the approximately 7 GB of chapter 2.

The sooner chapter 3 is released, the less accurate it will be... so I hope that SC Stories takes all the time it needs, avoiding rushing the work and feeling obligated to someone who is stupidly impatient...

I also hope that SC will take breaks, to work with the right inspiration.

Creating artistic content requires a lot of concentration because one mistake could be the end of this project.
Being an artist is not like being an office worker.

Take all the days off you need, you are doing a great piece of art.

Not quite, but he did talk predicted sizes:

It's hard to predict the amount of content that'll actually end up in the chapter but I'm guessing Chapter 3 will be about the same size as Chapter 2. I predict 4 will be a little smaller and 5 will be the shortest concentrating on just the finale.

I really hope it was just a way to reassure those who constantly ask him to churn out updates... you ask him constantly like children... “Mommy, give me more jam.” This is the road that leads to stomachaches and food intoxication and then to the doctor...
I hope that when the author starts editing chapter 3, he will realize that there are other things to add...
Frankly, I think I understand how SC works...
He creates lots of images... jots down ideas for the script... only later does he realize that to make the story coherent, he needs to add more...
At least, that's how I interpret what he said.

Also, let me clarify when I said I was removing some content. Characters already written into the story are part of the story and those arcs will be completed. I don't want really want to say more than that for fear of creating new controversies.

SC I'm with you... your story is amazing... i will never jump off from your train... you have to do what you want also stop when you want... I'm your loyal fan forever also bc just this 2 chapters are just the best for me....

packard1928 read well this SC sentence... I think this means that there will be no removal arc for the characters in the game.

So I think you are one of those who misinterpreted what the author was saying.

Predictions should be always taken with "a grain of salt" or with "the benefit of the inventory.." maybe "the benefit of hindsight." is more correct?

Sorry, this is a saying in my country, I don't know if you say it that way in yours... Predictions are just hopes that don't always turn out to be accurate, since one scene leads to another and then something more is needed to make everything consistent with the main story.

I need some help from the studio audience... EYEBALLS!

I don't have a very deep understanding of materials/shaders in Daz and use pretty much off the shelf stuff for this story. Default characters, though, tend to have shitty eye textures. They work fine, though, for distant shots and supplemental characters. But on the main characters who get frequent tight face renders, I use a secondary product to give fantastic eyes... with one major drawback. When they look off camera, the red banding is ugly and distracting.

I'm attaching a small zip file with the texture files including one from another product that you might be able to blend with mine to create the realistic blood vessels. You know, the first thing I noticed about your game is that everyone's eyes look "sick." It's like they're drunk or have a fever. Is it even worth striving for super-natural eyes when the skin texture quality isn't the best?
P.S.: This isn't a criticism, just an opinion. I REALLY like your game!

and yes, Hutch's eyes are perfect too... his eyes are wide open because he didn't want to see what he saw here...

During moments of intense emotional or physical stress, I agree. But not constantly. Furthermore, at close range and when the eyes are turned sharply, a white corner appears (which is what the developer calls for help with). And it looks downright strange.

Every artist decides what inspires them most to create their art... and that's why I'll never stop thanking SC Stories for writing a true story about relationships between adults instead of the usual stupid comedies for children created by fake artists who only think about money.

So please avoid trying to stop his work... (Besides, you'll never succeed...) because from what you write, it seems clear to me that you would not want him to complete this masterpiece of erotic VN.
