Talking about the last scenes, what would be better if Hutch was about to divorce her? Having openly told her he knows, or simply asked her to work with him for the sake of the business (without the "work for him")? He could be dragging it out to gather more evidence, or avoid them both knowing his plans.
I was disappointed with the very end where he promises nothing will change their marriage, but there was a delay there while he was thinking, maybe the request for her to always return home is a promise he already knows she wont keep, so why would he need to keep his?
The only good ending I see here is both the boss and wife having their lives destroyed, like they both (knowingly and unknowingly) did to Hutch.
