Correct, and it happened again outside the office after her work shift in the toilet.
Vivian accused Christian and insulted him as an asshole but forgot everything she said as soon as Christian embraced her from behind.

She also said in the beginning is he opening our marriage. Currently the conversation is regarding the boss because it's the current situation. If she decides to lets just say the BBC starts flirting and petting her. The open marriage is going to be a card she can use without feeling remorse.
"Asshole" here is simply a compliment for the man who gets away with iit and knows it. It is submission to him having his way with her.

It is a love / hate thing with her. I truly think she hates the man.... But, Loves how he can please a woman.
Yeah, I get it. But of course that would be on her, to allow herself and her marriage to be further abused by such men.
This extreme duality of hers it's for me the harder part to believe of the story. Maybe because the writing it's very good and "real". In the toilet scene, she's about to leave, insulting him, and just because he grabs her by the waist and start fucking her again, she loses control again. It's too exaggerated, because anything in her personality, her motivation concerning Christian or even her marital situation (i.e: a huge frustration) can't explain this attitude.

Dominance pure and simple. Her husband is total opposite. The boss takes what he wants. Tattoo and piercings give the impression Vivian was wild when she was younger probably dealt the boss type and when she was ready to settle down she went with the safe choice. Now the boss has reawakened that side of her.
I agree that could happen, but if it did, all it would be is "a card" or a poor excuse. For a woman of her maturity and intelligence (a schoolteacher) to honestly think this would justify rampant cheating would be hard to believe.

You guys missing the main point of the husband telling her to go work with him.
I think he truly believes she deserves a chance he wants Her to choose to stay with him by her own free will,he wants her to have the guts to say to the guy NO I had enough I chose my husband. that's why he gave her the pass,he wants to have that victory over Christian that my wife chose me at the end of the day.

Still wonder though if its really coincidence that this reawakening happens now, at this point in time. She seems nervous, stressed and on the brink even before this starts. Shows quickly signs of anger in her face.

House sex scenes not counting the backyard. He invites her to his bed puts his hand out she accepts. First sign of intimacy, moaning extremely loud and you think your husband 20 ft away doesn't hear you, fucking throughout the house your husband is right there. You his wife is sleeping in the bed with a known player and you think he is sleep. Her awakening happened right after the backyard. Her fear and nervousness was nothing more than does he know.
I did consider something along those lines. I believe that's one reason why he echoed her own words by telling her he would let her "worry" about her (or be a "big girl"). I think he was telling her that ultimately she is the one with the power to choose. And if she chooses to let it continue, then it increasingly would seem that it's something she wants despite her objections to it.

Both just aren't able to express to each other what they really want.
Especially not after all what has happened.
Hutch last try to intervene was bringing up the topic that Christian is still working his way through the first half of the phonebook during the dinner, but was immediatly shut down by his boss.
Yes, other players mentioned this, and that's why I can believe that she falls for the guy at first, but as psychedevil said, she's intelligent and mature enough to resist once she rationalized that she wants her husband over the bad boy.
She said to herself and to his husband multiple times already that it's done with Christian, and she failed every time she tried to stop it. She's not even rejecting this new opportunity her husband is giving her now. So, why she will succeed this time? She will spend less and less time to bond emotionally with her husband (her work as a teacher plus now this new "work"), because, obviously, while the "work" with the boss remains, their sex life is dead. She already know that Christian is a total asshole, and she knows she loves her husband for the man he is, even if he's passive and not good in bed. So I don't see what big revelation she can have with this.
