Yeah tbh, I thought it was stated somewhere in the dialogue in the game that Addison was Chris's niece and Chris is her uncle. Could have sworn that was who she was to him.

You're right, Addison is the daughter of Chris' brother. The comment about her being Chris' daughter is someone suggesting the blonde in bed with Christian could be Addison's mother, and therefore Chris could have fathered Addison without his brother being aware. So she's his neice, but secretly she's actually his daughter (in that theory).

I saw that before too, but I just took it as the dev putting the idea in as a possibility but not (at the time) decided on - "Shall I make her his neice, perhaps?" - rather than putting a question mark to create ambiguity. Similarly there are plenty of times in the script where lines are duplicated but commented out because (presumably) the dev has been editing/rewriting or just hasn't been sure which line he prefers for a given scene, etc. and has kept them both there during his process.This is how Addison is defined by DEV! Probably, cause I have also seen some pics that show a white Marcel basketball player at school with the number 2 in the images folder identical to the afro-american Marcel shown in game. Still there are doubts about Addison, for example her last name should be the same as Christian's last names if she is his brothers' daughter, but it ain't. Of course it could have multple reasons why her last name is Moore and not Landon, but as long as there is no explanation for that I count her as not a niece of Christian and most likely the one who is next to Christian in bed when he was calling Vivian, who doesn't like to be called Viv!

When Vivian goes to meet Christian in the morning to negotiate Hunth's job, she doesn't find him in the office and he soon appears from behind, surprising her. There's a moment when she looks at him in surprise and falls into his arms. I believe that it wasn't just the shock that made her fall, but also because he's very handsome and she kind of falls in love at first sight. That said, I don't believe that she took the initiative in the backyard (or that it was blackmail), but she already expected to be possessed by him. She wanted that.
I know that a lot of people want to see a detailed explanation of this scene. But honestly, I don't think it's necessary. Especially if it's in the form of a flashback. I don't really like flashbacks, I think it takes away from the immersion a bit.
(I replayed the game and I'm increasingly believing that she's already been acting this way with other guys for some time. However, this is the first time that Hunth finds out.)
It's quite evident that Christian is purely a player who enjoys ruining other peoples relationships, and has no interest in being in a relationship himself (well at least for now). At best he is still going to be sleeping around a lot. The emotional fallout of his conquests gets him off more than the sex. I doubt Vivian will end up with him (if the story tries to maintain some sort of realism). Eventually she is going to figure out that the dick isn't worth the emotional cost. The state of her relationship with Hutch is the only unknown.
It would be great if it is Addison's mom. Maybe she can get some evidence of the affair and pass it on to her dad (Christian's brother). Would like to see that altercation!Yeah, I was wondering who could be in bed with Christian when he was talking to Vivian on the phone

On a lighter note, I think another reason Hutch was sulking in the backyard dinner scene was because he thought it was rude that his boss already fed Vivian her entree, and he didn't get anything.
This game has taking up too many clock cycles in my brain. I think I might need to seek other entertainment to reset my head. Come back for part 2.
Yes lots of reasons for the different surname - but I think the most logical is that Addison maybe is married??

It could be Addison mom was married before and has a different father. Then married Christians brother... She is a Niece by marriage only. No incest.

I wouldn't be so sure, he doesn't strike me as someone with good morals. He certainly enjoys marriage wrecking and blackmailing a woman to get what he wants. Would fucking his hot niece be too far?

All we know is Hutch sees his wife getting railed and we know he's upset. OK... Hutch isn't into wife swapping/hot wifing/ or a willing cuck, point well made. But the question is how much resistance did Vivian put up before dropping her panties if any? I suppose other questions could be asked too. A great part of the novel is there is passion with the foreplay like kissing and nibbling, but in that context how much passion occurred in the back yard... and what was going through Vivian's mind during all of it.

Timing of flashbacks if done correctly to set up an event or explain something that is new information are a good plot device... and flashbacks can mold a character's reasoning, evolution, and situation. Take a simple scene where Vivian knows she is going to meet up with Christian and thinks there is a chance he'll make another move on her... the flashback of either the back yard or bedroom (brief recollection) can set the scene where she gets wet with anticipation. Or as time passes Vivian thinks more and more about the events with Christian that helps her reconcile her guilt or make her feel even more guilty about the affair.

I am on the side that by and large Vivian hasn't had much time or opportunity to stray or cheat in so much the time it would take to develop relationships that would allow her to do that. Oh sure she would have workplace interactions but since it takes two to tango in one situation where she is wanting to explore an affair the target of her interests might not be willing... and the reverse is true as well that Vivian just isn't interested in whoever who is trying to bed her.
But... as likely or not Vivian has cheated in the past, the point being made is she was always willing to cheat given the correct situation. I'm not meaning she would just drop her panties... but that she is/was weak enough to where it could happen.
But honestly the whole Christain/Vivian storyline I think really is a Trojan horse for the real cheating trope of the story... I'll put my chips on that the real cheating occurs with the students. Vivian has an excuse that makes Christain possible and perhaps the relationship corrupts her to expands her menu
