I did my part with the vote, but I guess it's not happening anytime soon....

Despite being barely developed, and abandoned for years, a vastly more superior game than the same dev's other offering, Happy Summer.

When I was last a Patron, it seemed funding for HS was being marketed based entirely on the premise that funding HS will ultimately resurrect MLS.

I'd be pleased to see a change in that paradigm, but I wouldn't be surprised if said change hadn't materialized, or if Discord discussion about it was still resulting in paying customers being permanently silenced on Discord, but not credited or removed from Patron.

Caizer did a poll on his Patreon about what his supporters wanted. They preferred a Happy Summer remake (I guess with some 3D freeroam / walkaround type of gameplay) over working on My Lovely Sara again. I'm disappointed, but I do think it's fair that he go with what his supporters want, since they're the ones paying him. As of today, here are the results of the poll (you can see which one I wanted personally):

Looks like this "creator" is going to be starting a new project after "Happy Summer", so barring some kind of a miracle, virtually unheard of in this cold, uncaring, profit-stifled day and age, this title seems finally to have been consigned to the wastebin of history.

It is absolutely mind-boggling that so luscious a fruit, so truly endearing and delightful a character as Sara, should end up being so callously left un-plucked(!) by her creator to wither and "die" on the vine. I understand, though I don't appreciate at all, the considerations and pressures which have conspired to create such artistic travesty, but I nevertheless mourn for the loss of this dear, sweet character.

Sara may be now be gone, but her memory will endure and be cherished always in my heart.
