After patiently waiting for this game to receive an update, it’s disappointing to see that part of that time went into removing content rather than expanding on it, and in the process, altering the game's original atmosphere.

I get why the developer made this decision, but it’s still disheartening to see him give in and do exactly what those mfs wanted.
Wouldn’t it have been possible to temporarily remove the content and reintroduce it through a patch like many other games do, rather than straight up removing it?

As things stand now, it just feels like a huge waste. The animations are absolutely top-tier, but knowing that going foward the game will be a toned-down version of the developer’s original vision really kills a lot of the excitement I had.

I hope he will change his mind and will find another way to handle this but given he already started reworking everything deemed "problematic" that seems compromised

The renders are so fucking good but the progression is so fucking weird. You're just dropped in a sandbox with pretty much no direction on where to go next, except grinding that annoying job. Without the cheat codes I don't think it would be worth to even play, but Ako is the cutest thing ever

There should be the option to add the removed content as a separate file. Other projects do it and they're fine. I don't see why this one can't have that option to bypass the censorship.

I made a joke about expanding the menial tasks you have to do in the game in my review. And instead of understanding the criticism, they went through with it?
The game is LITERALLY: Do boring tasks until you're no longer money and/or time gated arbitrarily. This might as well be cookie clicker between events.

From what I've seen in game and the general changelog posted in the previous page of this thread, the main things that have been cut are Yui's storyline and "interactions" with Ako while she sleeps. Now, while I did want an alternate path for Yui, a good path to compliment the bad path, I understand the disappointment in cutting the content

• More content has been removed rather than added.
• Animations are MUCH better now.
• The story (and removed content) of Yui (?) is being rewritten by the dev, so there’s basically nothing left of it?
• There’s so much annoying grinding and basically no clear direction (where to go) for events.

After all those months of waiting, that’s really disappointing.

I think there is still reason to be optimistic for the game, even if this update didn't meet expectations. The quality has been high throughout development and the dev, though taking a while between updates, is pretty open to communications with the players. I still have faith. I will say, however, that managing depression feels WAY more difficult now and I can't explain why

Just started playing and yeah... the grind is real.

What was taken out? Is it better to track down an older version? I have0.7.12... Yui's sister runs the shop while Yui offers sex, but declined to be rescued. Was it different before?

Edit: Just went to the change log... you could actually use the drugs you buy, gamble, and watch video? WTF? Anyone have the older versions? Oh, its on the previous page... nice!

There are games with way worse content out there that are still thriving. The little coward even changed the dialogue with the maid, lmao, she’s a freaking robot bro. Anyway, I’m out.
