You realize you could have been smart about it and just done what many others did and add the 'removed' content in some other way, people would not mind one bit if there were extra steps to get what they want, and still make it so that you're not in danger of losing your income. That would have been more sensible and you wouldn't have got any real heat over it.
Yeah, if you go against these people that are trying to destroy this media you could lose your livelihood, but you just folded immediately. That's what a lot of people have an issue with. Your game is worse off for it and many will think twice before subscribing now. If this is what they can expect, can you blame them?
I hope to god you didn't just delete the pre-8.0 scenes. They could still be added in a smart way that doesn't put you in danger if it's subtle.

If I didn’t care about this game, I wouldn’t have even wasted my time here. His changes were simply uncalled for and just paranoid. Some of the top games on Patreon like Superhuman, Pale Carnations, FET, and Desert Stalker have way worse content in them, but they don’t make their games bland. This dev here, even though I’ve been calling him a coward and such, I don’t blame him entirely. He doesn’t have the fanbase those games do, and if he got flagged, he’d be done. But that’s why I’m saying he’s being paranoid, because none of that content was over the top, and I don’t think anyone here thought that. Even if he wanted to make changes, there are smart ways to play around it without outright removing things and changing dialogue.
Anyway, I’ve talked enough, and I think I’m becoming the villain in this thread, so I’ll take my leave.

People are free to unsub if they don't like it. In the end it's the dev's prerogative to stick to the terms of patreon or find another avenue of funding. Drama on a pirate forum where the only guy actually sharing the game is getting shit on for sharing "early" is fucking weird... People need to clean up their rooms and find the marbles they lost...
Edit: Don't get me wrong, I don't like that changes had to be made, but I think people are fighting this at the wrong end.
dodongamagnifiko on more sensible note, I noticed a bug with the textbox staying active when speaking to the bookstore lady. You can work around this by talking to the groceries lady, but I think it's worth looking into

I'm simply being cautious because I've seen many games getting removed from Patreon over virtually nothing. Just because some games get away with it doesn't mean mine would be safe.
Yeah, I'm going to lose some people who were into that kind of content, which is very unfortunate, but they are a really small part of the community. It just doesn't make sense to me to risk getting banned for them, especially considering that content isn't even the main focus of my game.
Finally, v0.8 isn't the final update for the game, and I don't remember saying all of the cut content is forever gone and won't ever come back. This whole 'heat' is literally over nothing.

I honestly really don't blame you for any of this, but I definitely hope that we can go back to having a relatively relaxed environment away from all of this super aggressive censorship that's currently going on. This game is genuinely one of the best out there in terms of quality and it just hurts all the more seeing it get hit with strays.

Dev is a trooper for reading through this BS lol. Dude really said maid is "just a robot, your property", talk about missing the entire point of the game
The irony is that a lot of people in this thread were asking for a happier conclusion for Yui. Sure, no one meant a complete rework, but not everyone was into how hopeless her previous plot was either.
Only thing I'm a bit down on is the removal of the sleep scene. Should be a fairly straightforward rework, MC gives her a tap in the shoulder, she wakes up but still sleepy, gives the MC the go-ahead. Just some added dialogue and a couple renders would have made it safe. Was my favorite H-Scene too

For those of us who funded the game and really enjoyed it the way it was before the loss of the prone scene is definitely sorely felt. I personally really don't like this. I get why he did it, but I just wish we had some way to get it back. It's not good. I would caution other people to wait and see how far the censorship goes before subbing now.
