I feel like I’m late to version 0.8, but why did Yui’s story change? I think the new version is better overall, but it basically lost more content than it added — instead of continuing her story.

Patreon censorship. The dev decided he wanted to play it safe and took out the prone scene for its non-consensual themes and the last scene with Yui because it may be interpreted as rape.
