Yall seriously need to chill with the AI art hating. There are very few artist who will draw for your game and most of the time they are busy doing other shite. If a problem rises with the artist well what can you do but wait for that person to resolve that problem which may take forever. Same thing happened with New Mystic Villes artist, had some issues and was taking forever to draw for the dev. AI just makes things easier for everyone without the complications of the human mind doing stupid stuff

can you at least put some effort to fix their goddamn disgusting hands? Every other image without their hands great amazing chef kiss, but when full hands display come into view instant boner lost. You already had the ai drew most of the stuff already at least do the hands drawing yourself for fk sake.

this picture example you're using is not the gotcha you think it is. To get such a quality photo like this you have to run millions of generations alongside an entire encyclopedia of reference words. And even then it ONLY works because it has enough pictures of real humans doing the same thing to draw from. AI does not create new images, it derives new images. So when you start trying to make very specific things with AI, it falls apart. Because it has no artistic creativity.Nah, he's right, AI might have a bad name because it's easy to assume a computer does all the work...
That's not even true, but okay, opinions are permitted..
But with better software AI generated art can become huge.... And certainly not limited to cartoon style art....

A computer does all the work and uses all human work as a way to generate a slightly different thing. You seem to think AI will match a humans ability to create which wouldn't be possible without self awareness.

I made it halfway through 0.3 and have not touched the project in 2 weeks.
I've decided to go on an indefinite hiatus I want to be as transparent with you guys as possible because of the appreciation and respect I have for you guys that have supported me and gave me encouragement through the past year or 2 making games here.
My mental health and physical care has been on a decline for some time, I work a real job for 40 - 48 hours a week and on my off time I worked on these projects with rarely a day off or vacation, which was manageable for a while, but during this time stopped going to the gym losing my muscle and gaining fat losing confidence, sacrificing hobbies , and most of my social life. Developing games that just fuel my porn addiction, looking at porn for hours on end cannot be healthy.
On top of this, I also am going through some girl heartbreak like a true cuck, that's what sparked alot of my reflection, it's been a catalyst for me wanting to improve my lifestyle for awhile.
I Don't wanna say I'm abandoning these projects just yet, because I do have a passion for what I've made, and I really enjoy that there are people out there that like what I've made, some telling me I've made there favorite games which means alot.
For now I need at least a month or couple months off to work on myself, to get back to myself and really figure things out. If I decide to fully pull the plug I will update the patreon but for now I recommend unsubscribing
