If by "that agent", you mean Keith, the recently introduced agent from OogleFans in SoA, then no, Vi will not be meeting him anytime soon. She will be visiting Bruce, as hinted at in the last MNGF Chapter, and might, at some point (we don't know when yet), do a shooting where Luke (SoA's main protagonist) would be present. But this is all still hypothetical at this point.

Vi (or any of the MNGF characters) will not be exposed to NyctX. There won't be any major plot elements shared.
Do not see more behind Maki's visit to a Nyctora City nightclub (in SoA), or Kate visiting Neon Club (in MNGF) than a good-natured cameo, a tip of the hat from one dev to the other.

Vi is not "working in the same modeling agency", she just took pictures with a professional photographer (Bruce) who shared it with his friends. One of them happens to be a talent scout for OogleFans, and will just try to have her post some content on the platform, that's all.
Good story, but it would be much more interesting if Vi took NyctX, imagine what the effect would be on her, since she is already quite perverted.

With all due respect to a fellow living being, but taking out of context what someone else said just to "correct" them is something low (because choosing carefully what to quote is taking it out of context), especially considering when what was said begins with a "lets suppose" which is the main reason why spaces like this forum exist, to discuss things.

But lets leave that behind...

You seem to be pretty sure of your statements...Like you are very well informed of whats coming for both of these projects, so out of couriosity, could you tell us what your relationship is with the developers of SoA and MNGF?

Just for the record, I want to make myself clear here: I dont doubt what you said is true, if you take the courtesy of reading my previous answers, you may be able to understand that I said exactly the same with less words, just like other users did.

First of all, I want to apologize if my earlier comment felt aggressive in any way. I did not mean to "correct" you.
I wrote it right before leaving for work, and only selected the part of your and harmonyrose's comment that I wanted to answer to. I agree that I should probably have reformulated and asked if I had understood correctly what you both had said.

I wanted to make it clear on this thread, as it has been done on the SoA one, by others :
Both stories take place in the same "world", in neighboring cities.
They do, however, each have their own tone, plots, and interesting characters.
If some cameos are to be expected between the two (or even possibly a scene or two in the future), major plot elements, such as Nyct X, will not cross the boundary.

I have been proofreading the MNGF script since the second Chapter, and the SoA one since the fourth.
While I do not claim (far from it) to know where both stories will go, I do know some immutable facts about them.
You can find me on both their Discord servers, if you want to discuss about anything related to these projects.

Apologies accepted.

Honestly, I thought that we could squeeze from you some future details from both plots, that would have been awesome considering it will take a while for the next updates to arrive...But i'll take what you said about some "inmutable facts" at least for now.

We can't do that obviously, but both SoA and MNGF have big - and almost entirely SEPARATE I want to make that very clear - plans. I have the utmost faith in both CG and Abyss to deliver a unique, interesting and - most importantly - incredibly sexy narrative. If I didn't believe in the projects I wouldn't give my time to helping with them. Neither would cho.

I think a lot of people can assume already a lot of the things that will happen, but often probably not in the ways and contexts they might have in their own minds. And they also might not think a lot of things will happen that will... ultimately that will depend on how good one is at reading carefully the things that are said.

Neither game caters to any one specific fetish, and I always have said those who enjoy the broadest number of types of content (be it NTS, swinging, cuckquean, stepcest, harem, IR, exhibitionism etc etc etc) will find the most enjoyment. But both games are DIFFERENT and cater to different fetishes to different degrees despite a lot of overlap. The two games can best be summed up by "Corruption and Debauchery" rather than hyper-focusing on specific genres.

(As a small aside, as I've seen it mentioned a few times here that in SoA girls are only corrupted by the Nyct X, that's untrue, it's essentially a new hyped aphrodisiac drug sold in the city but it's like saying alcohol and E are the only causes of promiscuity in our world which obviously isn't the case. It also won't feature in MNGF at all).

Thank you, I appreciate it.

PS: big fan of your art style btw *wink*

Thought this has always been the case and the appearance of characters from other VNs are just cameos. Less of a cross-over and more of fan service. Kinda like a "hey, it's that guy from ___ show" situation.

Absolute gem. Tbh, the use of existing characters from other IPs made me hold off from even trying this game for a long time, kinda like how I never play “real porn” tag games. I just can’t get immersed in those sort of games when I know the character/pornstar from their original works.

But I gave it a shot and found the writing and creative plot amazing. It’s so well done, i completely forget most of these characters are not even original to the game, but to be fair, I haven’t watched most of the shows the characters are from so I guess that helps with the immersion. Safe to say, those shows are prob ruined for me now lol.

But it did get me thinking why they choose to use the appearance(and even names) of characters from other IP instead of making something original. Then I played Shadows of Ambition and realized exactly why. Don’t get me wrong, the AI art in SoA is great, but compared to this, its sadly a step down. AI apparently still have a hard time with consistency of custom characters, hence using existing IP characters with a lot more “data” behind it for the AI to work with creates more consistency and capability for complicated and unique CG that look better.

SoA is still very close in image quality and consistency tho, its mostly lacking in unique designs(many characters look too similar). So it’s hard to judge weather taking a step down in CG quality for unique characters is worth it, I can imagine its more work getting the art to look right too.

Overall, amazing game, just wish it didn’t have to plagiarize existing characters but I do understand the reasoning behind it.

So I'm curious after having a debate elsewhere - how did people feel about the final scene between mc, Vi, ari, and Sai? Were they pissed he was even there? or did it flow well, or what?

Generally, I liked it a lot and have no issues with it overall, especially in the context of the story so far.

That said, I had only one quibble based solely on my own personal preferences: I'm a pretty big fan of all things NTR/NTS (sharing, swinging, cheating, corruption, etc.) and while I don't mind cuck content, I don't care much for the straight humiliation aspect of it. In Sai's case, maybe the extent to which he's into that was (intentionally or unintentionally) misrepresented, but he didn't seem like he was having a great time, and I didn't like that aspect much. Like, Ari leaving him hanging to help Vi with MC was great, and I'm sure he enjoyed *that* aspect of it, but Ari piling on the insults seemed a bit over the top (to me) based on what we know of their relationship to this point.

I mean, yeah, he got off in the end, but it almost seemed like mean for the sake of being mean. Some guys love that, and that's great. I'm not convinced Sai's one of them, and that was a bit uncomfortable ... but not enough to ruin the scene. :)

I don't quite understand what I just launched? Why couldn't this "FINAL" update of part 5 be released on May 22 or early April with the supposed DLC about the main character's sister? Are we now going to get pitiful crumbs each time consisting of 5-10 pictures and a script of 5 sentences in 17 font, which fit on one A4 sheet? It seems that free money spoils the developers of such novels.

I also thought Sai humiliations were a bit much. I mean, I generally don't care that much about that kind of things if it fits the overall story, but MNG is soo careful about the ego of the MC, and in my eyes the game regularly sends the message to the player "it's a very sensitive subject warning". But somehow if it's your friend and not you, the game goes all out in a complete U turn. Weird.
That being said, if the author has some particular kinks they want to explore (like big dicks vs small peepee(actually average)), I think they should just do it. Very often, a story feels more natural and raw (thus enjoyable to me) if they don't try to cater to any crowd seeing things differently. Devs always do to some degree though, but it's generally better when it's kept to a minimum.

Youre free to to criticize if you want, but if we are being factual the latest update added around 50 images (you can find them in the two dlc folders with silver in the name) several animations and hundreds of line of script in 2 weeks. Given the quality of said work I find it hard to reason how hed be any faster and I can assure you he was working on it a lot daily.
