Anyone have any recommendations that are similar to this? Found this story to be very enjoyable.

Moonripple Lake and Shadow of Ambition (Welcome to Port Haven is often mentioned alongside but I haven't played it yet) are the two other big Netorase VNs with AI CGs, they're not exactly the same tonally but it's the same vibe and very high CG quality, then if you leave the classical VN style you have a bunch of texting based NTS games like Netorase Phone (my favorite of the bunch, but very different in tone to this one) or SextingMyGF.

And of course there's a lot more if you leave the confines of AI CGs. NTR/NTS are a big genre.

Yeah it is that way. A lot of people like how it turned out, but they're not constantly trying to convince people otherwise.

The developer is redoing the scene with Anya, because he didn't like that one as per a post in the off topic thread. He didn't mention a thing about the ending with Vi at the photoshoot.
I don't know how many times I have to say this, but if you pay attention to the dialogue, the build up, Vi's relationship with Arianna, her inner dialogue and her past, you quickly come to realize she's not that innocent, loves attention from other men and is a very sexual creature. You guys are just putting her on a pedestal and projecting some romanticized wholesome vision of her and demand everyone else sees the same thing.

I also happen to think his writing is fine and aligns well with the erotic development of the game. It's just strange to me how some people expect Pulzter prize writing out of adult visual novels and some weird semblance of reality in situations that are far from reality.
Maybe Morning Glory Milking Farm is more your speed.

Am I changing stuff because of those things? No, sometimes things get rushed in the art and in the writting department and after the release and a bit of rest I think the Anya scene deserves a little more care and the dialogue needs a different aproach in order to bring out more of Anya's personality, the scene needs to be more wholesome, cute and awkward to fit the charachter and the relation. Right now the dialogue in that scene might be hot and well written but doesn't really showcase the best of Anya and what she can bring to the table. This is not the thinking of someone that is cattering to a specific group of critics ok? I'm know what I'm doing and I feel like a fool for not writting it and not seeing the mistakes the first time but sometimes the work gets messy and I can loose sight of some key elements, nothing that can't be fixed.

I don't see where he agrees on Vi's scene being mishandled. Can only repeat myself; I'd suggest playing through Ch05 again in case you've only been playing the initial release version.

What I think was "mishandled" is the cliffhanger we're left on. But as I said before, I'm assuming that happened because CG bit off more than he could chew in the time he gave himself and so it's missing the conclusion, a true ending to the scene and more fleshed out explanation as to what's going on.

He did work on the final scene, that much we do know.

Vi even calling out during the scene that they never even discussed doing a nude photoshoot so she's already being bad. With the dialogue between Eric and Ari implying that what Vi has done is basically cheating and she's a slut, which is why Eric gets mad even if it also turns him on. Of course, he said he wants her to be as slutty as she wants but if the intention is that's all a bigger part of their relationship not involving him at all doesn't achieve that. In the end, as I keep saying, scene is fine if it Eric was teased throughout, rather than finding out after from Ari. As one of the people that critiqued the scene and said it felt a bit sudden for her to go that far immediately after last update, you pretty much nailed it. I haven't checked the thread in awhile and it seems things got quite heated over this event. I would say obviously her blowing a guy during a photoshoot because she got horny in a vacuum is hot. However, it just felt odd after how last update ended to have this happen suddenly behind Eric's back. With no teasing, with no asking if he wants her to get spicier, etc. like what happened when she originally sent photos in to Bruce.

Then on top of that the photos are sent not to him but to Ari, where she then teases him with them instead of Vi doing the teasing. The dialogue used here is also very provocative, obviously to make him rage fuck Ari, but everything just made it feel like they are escalating separately, outside of their relationship. When I think a lot of people if not most would rather them both get crazier together. That doesn't mean they always have to be with each other when things happen but some more communication and input/teasing goes a long way as the boundaries get expanded further.

Dude, you completely missed an entire implied point made by Vi before the photoshoot. She was thinking about how she wanted to get Erik to fuck Ari, and she was considering a way to get him to do that. It's implied that she and Ari conspired behind the scenes to set it up this way. I mean, it's obvious! Vi told Erik to go to Ari, and then after he gets there, she starts sending the photos to Ari... I mean, what a coincidence! The entire point was to rile Erik up to get him to fuck Ari. You gotta read between the lines, man. I'm a professional author (pretty successful, too, to be honest), and I've had multiple times where I've set up foreshadowing and implications, only for the readers to not get it at all. And then, if I try to spell every little thing out, the people who do get it will criticize me for holding their hands too much. It's the same thing here. The author intelligently wrote the plot for people to read between the lines without him having to hold our hands. And like I said in a previous comment, the part that's actually inconsistent with the buildup and Vi's character is her being nervous about giving a handjob to Erik's best friend, not the BJ. If you want to make it more consistent, have her suck his buddy of a bit in the alley and not be nervous. She doesn't have to suck him to completion or swallow his cum or anything like that, but you could add a couple licks and sucking the head in front of Erik.
