what an idiot he is, why promise something and not fulfill it, why set dates. Just say the date the day before the update, or release it without an announcement. All who cover him are idiots doubly. This game is one of the best adult games, but his attitude towards the fans is just disgusting !!!
when i saw first delay from 20/11 to 21/11 I become more happier because i was sure some delay will apear and one day its not a big deal but another one? he doesnt care about supporters.
You never know what can happen, new bugs, new issues with game etc.. also its not delayed to unknown date and knowing Beggar he will release it very much soon.

One of them said that that Sarah was not present enough in the update and he needs more time to put more scenes....Like WTF did he not say that the update is about her???? You delay the game one day and after some big brain thinking you feel is not enough content and need another week???

Should be several seconds. He has a patrol pattern. It should have taken him several seconds to move from just above where you entered the level to where he is in your screenshot. In that time, you'd normally go into one of the two rooms to avoid him, and then sneak past him as he moved past the doors. If you're describing him as just standing in place, then its likely he's bugged out. If you have access to your smartphone menu right now, bugfix yourself to "unlock character", then move through the walls over by the stairs and bugfix again to "lock character". That's the universal "something's jammed" work-around. That and the car teleport, (despite not actually having purchased a car yet), are the main things I end up using the in-game smartphone for.
Edit: It's "W" on PC if you haven't used the smartphone yet. Doesn't work on every map.

The story of the Beggar's updates is as old as the world. And how much I always like to follow messages like this: Guys!!! The update will be on 20/11/2021. My balls are full. Or: How glad I am that the update is postponed for JUST one day, week, month, year, etc

1. Beggar is always right.
2. If for some reason you think that Beggar is wrong, then see rule 1.
As it is impossible to teach an old horse new tricks, so Beggar will ALWAYS be in his repertoire. He will ALWAYS throw out similar tricks and resort to tricks, as happened with the current update. If you want to play this game, then be patient.
Maybe you won't get too old yet when the Beggar's game comes out completely

I just starting doing missions for the Russian mob, then my character went home to watch a boxing match. When I wake up the doorbell is ringing but no one is outside. The tips say to change my clothes but I cannot go upstairs. Reloading and watching the fight scene again doesn't seem to help. Is there a way around this?

You've got a corrupted download from a bad link. Not sure which one you chose, but you're not the first person who's had this exact problem. Check back a few pages and see if you can find someone else's hotfix first, but if all else fails, download it again from a different source than you used last time. Your saves are all in /www/save.
What should happen is that you go to open the front door and Maria is waiting for you. You never actually leave the house. Bad map is Map 001. Now, another solution is to look at one of the bugfix files that SoTN posted. In the OP, you'll see *Unofficial Bug Fixes* with a link. Download the one that says it's for Amy's quest, that has map 001. Just overwrite your original map in your /data folder with that one. Then, reload to before you ended up on the first floor of the house. Your Book of Faces hint is wrong because it's still referring to when you changed into your underwear to watch the fight. This section is supposed to be completely on rails, you can't normally miss a cue to do something, so BoF doesn't bother giving you the next hint yet.
