You not boring me man. It all good homie, appreciate the view / convoDon't get me wrong, but the points that I made are no reason whatsoever for devs to express lazy behaviour. It was ment to create general understanding amongst the audience. I think that the bottom line is that devs should be better prepared for the line of work that they are getting into. And I suspect that a lot of them are not aware of that, which I agree that it is their own fault that they have a meltdown halfway throughout their production.
Same goes for the audience. It is never a good thing that a dev points to the audience as a reason why their product fails. But that's a trend going on through the entire entertainment industry at the moment. The dev merely needs to understand the audience, so that it can cater to the need of the crowd that brings in the money/fame. Or, if you plan to go against the grain, you should prepare yourself with a thick skin and a proper planning. Sadly it often times it is their own pride, ego and arrogance that stands in their way.
I think that this industry is a high risk, high reward kinda situation, but without any controlling watchdogs or instances that create awareness of the risks within the dev community. I suspect that this is one of the main reasons why so many adult game projects go abandoned, because there is no insurance for both the dev and the audience. This is something that is never going to change, so we just have to deal with it.
Totally agree. A dev should never try to gain sympathy by opening up about personal situations as reasons for their own failure, because that often ends up with more backlash among the general public than keeping it professional. That stuff should be resolved within the inner circle and should not see the light of day, how big the impact of the issue even is.
But let me refrain myself to bore you all to death with my analytics.

Since this game is no longer being worked on, can anyone recommend solid games similar to this one? Preferably with good animations.

Check if there is any save files in your game folder. If they are gone they are gone, but if not you might be able to restore them.My saves are broken and i can't no longer load them
My PC crashed and then when i tried to load the save the "continue" didn't show up
Where did you get the idea that the game was abandoned? Sure it's not gonna get a lot of updates because of diminished support, but beggar said he didn't stop developing the game.
Revamping this game was a really bad idea. The developer ruined several characters, especially Amy and Laura. Instead of trying to reinvent everything, he should have just focused on fixing the issues in the original and updating the old animations. That alone would’ve made a much better experience.

What was changed about them?
Make a new save on a previously unoccupied spot and try to access the save menu that way? Or make a back up of a save and save in it's spot and then copy back the backup.i still have them, they just don't load

Aside from their looks, Laura and Amy have completely different personalities in the original version. Laura is portrayed as the stereotypical shy, nerdy virgin, while Amy is someone you can manipulate and dominate. In the Revamp, however, their roles are practically reversed—Laura becomes sexually confident and experienced, while Amy takes on a personality more like the original Laura.

i have tried that... didn't try the onuccupied spot tho! but they're all blank, i just have the files... i tried to see if they still worked on a saver editor site and they loaded with no problem, but i still didn't manage to load the file into the game

The game developer does not actively communicate with the people who support him financially. As time has gone on the development of the game takes longer and longer to release updates followed by updates whose content is minimal and by now after so many updates the game is either completed or close to completion.
And until recently he came out saying that the updates were going to take longer because the game was not generating as much revenue as before, it's laughable, if he had maintained a more active communication with his patreons could have avoided many things.
