So let me make sure I understand this. For the "Distract Karen mission" it is bugged, and you can't escape from here?
Edit: NVM figured it out. For those who don't know first you must go into the last room and go into the middle bookcase to get your clothes. Then after you can exit the building. However it isn't over from there. Once you done this head to the area where the other door is and go through that. Once you done so then you finished the mission.

Go to Carol's house in the afternoon and click her door. After you interact with Carol and do what you need to do in there her entry will show in the book of faces.
