Honestly, I don't understand the purpose of this revamp. Aside from being just a huge downgrade, the story itself feels extremely rushed. If I hadn't played the old one I wouldn't have understood what the heck was going on in this story. He mentioned that he wanted to remove a big part of the "grind" but this is just more than that, he completely removed the story part of this game kinda. Aside from that, It's totally bugged like everywhere either you stuck, have a black screen or find yourself somewhere and can't progress any more like in my case. It's the first release and understandable but he was already working on this game for years. As a long time supporter I kinda feel pissed on me. Many people misunderstood the voting, he didn't gave much choice so patreons had to chose the revamp at the end. It was like choosing between garbage and garbage with a cherry on top if it.

I can't be the only one who thinks the MC's casual sprite looks horrible, right? Those colors are a pain for the eyes and don't even match the renders in which he has a dark grey shirt and beige pants... I'll just leave a sprite that looks better for everyone who wants to use it.

All right pals let's make things clear because I see there's people who still complains about the Revamp:
So basically BoN said that the whole Revamp thing it's gonna take forever to complete it that's why BoN released the Revamp so we all can take a look of the new stuff that he did to the game(aka new characters, new map) and he promised to bring new updates every month or two with new stuff every time.
For anyone that still doesn't understand this is just an ALPHA/BETA release it's not the final version and of course it's gonna have tons of bugs and glitches that's why we all are gonna wait for the bug fixes BoN will release soon,my advice is DO NOT start the game now wait a few weeks maybe a month until he releases the final version of this update with every bug fixed so you can play it without coming here and saying "there's a bug here and there's bug there" and start pointless discussions of how lame BoN is and how lame the Revamp is.

A whole new revamp and silencing the sounds still doesn't silence them on the video clips. Unwanted sounds is one of the more annoying things in any game.

More over, those real from porn picked up sounds doesn't even match with the whole game or the scenes. Especially if they mix up with those japanese sounds. Not sure what beggar was thinking but It's a total disaster
. I had to click through all the scenes rapidly since It annoyed me.

The bugs hopefully get worked out but I have to agree that in many cases character portrayal and storyline were better in the old version. Amy didn't have to become more unlikable as she was already petty and mean to begin with. Sarah becoming a total ditzy character was unnecessary as the twin arc would have been better than this version where essentially the smarts have been very unevenly distributed between her and the MC. The general story didn't need to become darker as the lighthearted nature was the appealing part of the game from the getgo with occasional serious parts in between. So yeah it was kind of a downgrade the bugs aside. The maps do look better and music is better and some new characters are nice and the school is really great but the storyline has sadly gotten a bit worse in general...
