It's funny to see folks complaining about Bugs on an Alpha version

That's the whole point, you point out the Bugs so that the developer can fix them lol.

Also you have others who are given clear directions on what to navigate in the phone (click on the ? mark) and they click on the portrait and then come back to complain, when the ? is right there in the bottom left hand corner lol.

And as you may have also noticed, the game is far less laggy than the previous versions

people are talking about how the story got worse and darker. This makes me think the game is unplayable, if the story isen't made better. I just hope that you don't share the family members and such, like turning the mc into weakling like was happening at the end of 2.1 or a cuck and watching others fuck the twin and such.

My opinions so far....

1: I was hoping it would be in renpy to cut down on the walking and repetition, but it is not and repetition is worse than ever in some places.

2: I do like the new characters and origin story.

3: He kept the horrible japanese sex noises. Seriously man, they sound more like a rape cry than sexy noises.

4: Because of the new restart setting I have no f**king clue where anything is. Currently waiting to figure out how to get into Laura's room to get the porn mag back.

Overall I'd say its nice to have new scenes but don't think it was worth an actual project restart. If he ran out of ideas for the last game then just tie-up loose ends and finish it.

How much content is in this revamp anyways. As I said I am currently trying to get the key for Laura's room. Is there much new content left to see?

Well there is a difference between complaining and pointing them out. I for example am stuck with the school pool scene as well as with Laura Pool scene where you meet Markus' friend/dealer TJ. So I am unable to progress any further.

I found the hint pointer quite easy but for example with the quest to get your PC stuff from the GameStore, the hint said to go to the game store in commercial west neighborhood instead of going to the park in Old Quarter. So a few mistakes there as well.

And for the laggy part: It has a lot less content as well still at this point, so with more content it might get laggier again. We can only hope that dividing up the map screens does actually help, but I'm not sure.

I stopped playing after the start of day 4, there still seems to be some elements of the story from previous versions mixed in with the new content.
Making it confusing for newer players who haven't played the previous versions, so essentially, the comments are spoilers for me lmao.

You can't tell me you honestly expected this. The man's been working with RPGM for three years, and never once said the revamp would move the game to Ren'Py

I understand the difference between the two lol i was just pointing out that there are people who are complaining about things that are not concerning the storyline, like assumptions that his patreons voted for the changes that are taking place.

Yeah that is pretty confusing also during my short playthrough there were some spanish still in the game text (saves for example)

It's nearly 3 gigabytes of content but you're also right that adding more content later will actually make it become laggier.
And dividing up the screens did help, till more things eventually start being added then they all load at the same time lol

showing a fix that is gonna be burried in in post from under 2 minutes is not the option. these fixes needs to be placed in the main page. not where people need to use a damn search function to find your fix. also are you sure your fix fixes stuff or does it create more bugs allong the way where are the official fixes ?

I do not understand the people who justify the errors in the game for being the see. v0.001 aplha the author took 3 months this game would have already finished in 1 or 2 months maximum.but the stupid people have no limits I doubt that some are even thinking about withdrawing their donations. this is the video game market today a great shit
