This happens to me randomly. I find that just closing the game and opening it up again fixes it. I think the game starts taking to much memory and needs to be closed before it can load more images.

Just read the changelog in your game folder: that little tiny .txt file called "Version20.txt" . If you don't find it, re-download the game, because you're playing the old bugged outdated 2.0 update.

I haven't downloaded the game yet because i'm playing in this moment Superpowered(great game, but not good as My New Life is), but thanks anyway, i'll download when i'll finish Superpowered.
