Would be better to just complete the game and then start a new creation,instead it might be like some things in 2.1 didn't happen unless the revamp gets every scene from 2.1

It's simple, keep going down the max you can, then go to the left. the map is a bit similiar to the old one

I'm at beginning since I needed to start all over and I'm at mission where I have to get to school in 3 mins. Got there but can't interact or enter...

Easy ...Peasy -> hop on the bus ... bus station right in front of school.
Keep exploring so you know where stuff is and then start the quests.
