I'm happy you got justice in the end, though based on your story it sounds like that ex-officer targeted you for one of two reasons, jealousy or a power trip. I could be wrong, but it's just how I see it as my opinion.

Another week, another progress update!
I made some great progress on the script for the second beta of Chapter 2, which will most likely release this month. I'm happy that the "new" change I made where the betas are smaller ( but still as big as a MNF Beta ) really helped me in getting more of a good writing and rendering flow again. This will be the beta that ends the first "day" of the second chapter. After you had dinner with Katharina and Lea ( and Katharina asking you for something very weird ), you have a longer talk with Lea about this and that - with also some more subtle foreshadowing that there might be a big reveal at the end of this chapter. The two will also talk about their current relationship and how things might progress. Once you're home, Bethany ( as you can see in the render ), will have a longer talk with you as well, where she will mention this and that and ask you a few questions you didn't know you had to answer. I want to keep it more casual and relaxed, like usual, and then the MC will go to bed and sleep. Just...Ah, no, I'm not going to spoil that. You'll see it when you play it ( and as a supporter, that will be this month most likely !). I'm also going to add a beta branch to Steam soon, but I don't have figured out how much content I'm going to add there.
So while I mainly have the big reveal at the end of chapter 2 in mind for the prequel, I'm also looking into some interesting plots I can work out in the main game. You probably remember Lisa, the girl from the hotel, right? Well, the MC tells Anna all about what they did and Anna is very interested to hear more about this. As you know she has this certain kink regarding the MC, and when he reveals that he wasn't really inactive while she was in a coma, she's going to suggest a few things they could do. Anna likes to spice things up a little and cause some... Let's say, funny drama. I don't want to get into too much detail, but you guys will either hate it or find it as funny as it was writing this part. Don't forget, my games are never about the drama or stuff like that, that's why I called it funny drama. Anna is a prankster after all, right? Crazy Germans, I'm telling you. Oh, there is also going to be some news that Lena will drop casually on the side that will change things up a lot, I got a few flashbacks to Fiona regarding that. Not going to spoil more, though.
And I think thats it for now! Sorry that this is not a longer progress update, but I'm really interested to hear your feedback once this second beta for the prequel is done! If I can keep up this workflow then Chapter 2 will release way sooner than I expected! I'm preparing all the renders for the next part of the prequel Beta and I feel like I finally reached a point where the "big story twist" will make sense. It took a lot of thinking, especially regarding the main game and that nothing was mentioned there, but that actually played into my hands. I won't go into detail but once you play this part of the prequel, you might start to wonder what could have happened. I think I already talked about the fact that the MC is invited to have dinner with Lea and Katharina and that Katharina asks something of them ( if you started the relationship with Lea, that is ). Todays render is a short moment before they have this talk, where Lea is blushing a little because they talk about last night. Anyway, after this event you will have a talk with Bethany where she will act... Strange. She is not like she usually is and that is because she received some news. She is not really ready to share it yet because it will need more confirmation, but still, the MC is very confused. During this talk you will also get the chance to share with her who Rei's cousin is - And I highly recommend you make that choice. This second beta will end with something I planned for a while, the MC will have a dream and...Ah, you'll see what I do there once you play it! I'm still trying my best to release the beta this week, my guess is the weekend!
The prequel was of course not the only thing I worked on, but my work on the main game is causing a bit of distress right now. The fact that I don't have access to my characters is always there, but sometimes it bothers me more than other times, so it kinda impacts my ability to write for it. That is when I usually start to write more for My New Family 2. Yes, the game is already in development and while I mainly write for it now ( since I still haven't fully decided what I will use to make the renders ), I have a good idea on what I want to present to you in a first release. I want the game to be something people can enjoy no matter if you played the first one or not, but of course if you are a MNF enjoyer you will get a lot more out of it. There's going to be some fun stuff early on regarding Sandra, Alice, Lucy and the MC. The dynamic they have in the first game will continue in the second, with Lucy and the MC making Alice and Sandy sometimes roll their eyes because of the things they do and say. Let's just say that them having a tenant now just means that there is one more person to join the little cat and stupid pelican. And yes, I will release My New Family 2 this year.
That is something I will talk about in another post that is dedicated to that. I know that I have drastically slowed down how much I put out in terms of releases and content and the person that hates it the most is myself. The criticism I get for it is totally valid and I will do my best to make it up to you guys. I'm not going to put empty promises here and seek for excuses, I will own up to my mistakes and like I said a few times, it's totally fair if you decide to not stick around and/or support me anymore. The last thing I want for anyone that plays or played my games is that they support someone they think is not doing enough. Like I said, this is totally valid, so please don't attack people that say stuff like this.
But I think thats it for now! I will make an additional post once the Beta is ready, like usual! If anything new comes up I'll let you guys know! Stay awesome!

it's on hold so it can be sold on steam, one other title has already been banned on steam from this site, and one was posted to steam by someone that was not the owner developer. Dev is trying to get it removed from Steam

It's on hold because German police is holding the dev's harddrives (where pretty much all of this game's assets are) in custody due to a false accusation of involvement in a crypto scam. They're still investigating, but they're apparently not in a hurry, and cloning the drives so they can be returned to the owner seems to be out of the question. More info in

As some of you may have noticed I was able to release the second beta for My New Memories: The Beginning yesterday. If you were a $15 or higher tier supporter in the month of May, but decided to stop supporting for June ( or it just ran out in May ), send me a message and I'll provide you with the links. My plan was to release it in May so if you were supporting in may, you will be able to play it! $5 and higher tier will be able to play on friday and Steam will follow as well!
This beta contains one rather unique event compared to what I did in any of my games, so if you get the chance to play it, please don't hesitate to share your feedback! Todays progress update render is Sabrina though, who has a talk with the MC before they all go to bed ( If you decided to pursue Lea you will of course sleep with both of them again ). During the day, Sabrina and Lea noticed something weird regarding Bethany and Katharina. They are very concerned since it seems like Bethany received some news that rather shook her up, compared to Katharina who apparently also received some news and who seems rather happy about it. This is all going to lead into something I will reveal at the end of this prequel Chapter, which will most likely surprise all of you. It took me quite some time to figure out how I can do this so it will make sense for the main game as well, I had so many different scenarios in my mind and I think I finally came up with one that makes the most sense. You'll see what I mean with the next Beta as well, since I will do what I always did, provide you with hints so that you will still be surprised at the end, but you can also say "Oh, I knew that."
While I added the final touches to the second Beta, I also put a lot of effort into the Main Game again. So you probably remember what happened with Bethany at the end of Chapter 3. I also mentioned that even though she said something different, deep inside her heart she probably wants to continue what her and the MC started. It's not easy for her though, and something from the prequel will play into this talk. You know how I write my MCs, he is never pushy but he stands firm with what he wants. Bethany tries to convince him that those feelings are wrong, but ends up stumbling upon her own words. With some encouragement that the MC got from Anna I think it's time for her to embrace fully what they started. What do you think?
And I feel like thats it for now. Lately, my mental health has not been that good again because My lawyer and I are still being ignored by the state attorney(s) of my city, it seems like. All requests have been unanswered and we feel like pressuring them with more will only lead to more silence. But we'll figure something out. It's been over 1 1/2 years already and while investigating data can take up to 2 years in Germany, I didn't have that much data to look through to begin with. I'll keep you guys posted on this. Until then, stay awesome, like usual! And don't forget to send me a message regarding the things I said above!

Suspect may not be fake, but she sure is petty for whatever personal reasons she has against Killer7, and from what I heard, she doesn't truly realize what she is withholding from him, so is likely stalling to avoid blowback for her misjudgments of Killer7.He should call the cops and say that some fake policemans took his staff
Friends of mine ( and myself ) think that she is pretty pissed that I'm making a decent living making a porn game. She seems to be the kind of person who absolutely hate anything sexwork related, be it games or other things. A super prude type, if you want to call it that.

if i were i you i'd absolutely sue her for this, idk if it's unlawful persecution or if it's defamation, but i'd sue for both.
That sounds like a poor reason to mess with you. I guarantee you anyone with internet has checked out something lewd more than once, even if it's not porn-related, so I believe she is quite a hypocrite, even if she looked by accident or curiosity.

Maybe change your lawyer, and don't take this personally but lately you aren't posting anything about this case thingy like it couldn't be that there is no progress in your case unless you yourself or your lawyer aren't doing anything at all, if you are doing something (which I believe you are, seems like you just refrain from reporting it in your progress reports idk why) then you should have something like the PD saying we will look into it next week and then when you go check with them in a week then they say they didn't get the time to check it yet and give you another week and the cycle goes on and on or some other excuse like this.
What's exactly is there problem that "they" are saying they have in checking your data and giving it back to you apart from your speculations about her personal beliefs.
In short can you say what's there excuse is exactly for not checking your drives/ssds so far?

The investigating police officer already checked my stuff, we don't know if they checked everything yet but we know that my stuff has been checked already. The investigating police officer thinks she found something incriminating on my phone, then started to look into my games, checked my SSD that only contains renderfiles for DAZ3D and says that, given the fact she only has access to 91x91 pixel big unrendered previews of characters and scenes, some of those characters seem "too young". ( In one case it was Lena, in another case it was Sabrina, and then of course Olivia. Those were the only ones ). This is why I'm not getting my stuff back at the moment, because she thinks ( and it's only her from what we know so far ) there is incriminating stuff on it. The procedure then is that the state attorney has to check if those files are actually incriminating, and then they either confirm or deny it. The second part didn't happen yet, my lawyer send multiple requests to get a statement of the state attorney regarding that and they have been ignored so far. There is two ways this can go. The state attorney says "no, this is fine, what the fuck, you can't make anything out on these pictures ( which is the likely case, if you ever worked in daz3d you know these thumbnails ) or they say "yeah, she is right." If this will be the case, we can go to a judge and they will have to make a decision which will most likely end up being in my favor. Thats why I dont have my stuff back yet, because this one person thinks there is illegal stuff on it ( they cant give you something back that could contain illegal stuff in their eyes ).
The thing is, the state attorney has been "ignoring" our requests lately. Before Christmas my lawyer asked for an update on the case file, which has been unanswered. He asked again before easter, which was also ignored. After some digging and asking other lawyers ( and people that know stuff about the law in Germany ), this usually means there is nothing new in the case file and they don't think we need an update. Which is pretty fucking stupid to not just say so, but the don't have to say anything.
And to summarize how law enforcement works here: They take your shit and dump it in the chamber for at least 6 months, sometimes up to a year. Then they will mirror your harddrives ( they dont work with the original ), and check those mirorred copies of your harddrives/phone. This process is very time consuming, apparently, because they use fucking ancient software ( keep in mind that all of my PCs only had m2 ssds, so they might be even more slower because they dont know how to work with them etc ). Their software to look for incriminating stuff is ancient as well. From my understanding, it will detect nudity and then a police officer has to say "Okay, this is just a naked woman" or "Okay, this is problematic."
Heres the catch: None of my games feature anything that is even remotely illegal in Germany. I got a confirmation regarding this by several people that work as lawyers or have a good knowledge about the law. Even a character like Olivia, who a lot of people here think looks too young, would be fine to have a nude render of, since it's clearly visible she is fictional. The only exception would be if she would be in an obvious sexual render, like getting fucked or something. I don't have anything like that. The only thing I have is when you load characters into daz3d ( at least in my case ) they are "nude", doing a T-Pose ( they dont have genitals, just nipple textures ). And then it's like I said above, it's a 91x91 pixel unrendered thumbnail of the .duf file, if you ever worked in daz3d, you know that you cant make out shit there.
This has not been "short" but that's all you're getting. I'm getting kinda tired of explaining this over and over again since I talked about this multiple times in my progress updates and standalone posts as well.
And yes, sadly, when I don't give an update about the case in the progress update, then it means there is noterally nothing new. The last thing I got from my lawyer was on April 30th, where he just tells me state attorney didn't respond.
I don't want any pity but this is the most frustrating and emotionally draining thing ever. The fucking feeling of being powerless because some fucking person at the police department deems my stuff questionable and thinks she found something to have a case on my phone, which will easily be explained and debunked once I actually have to appear in court. To explain it in simpler words, this woman is literally keeping my livelihood hostage because she thinks I'm some kind of fucking predator, which stems from the fact she can't get ahold of the real piece of shit because he fled to thailand, so she has to find "another piece of shit", to put it bluntly.
