Not like Killer7 hasnt been honest and upfront about the reasons for the delay as well as working on a prequel while waiting to get the materials back for MNM with what he does have. Cant really call it abandoned when realistically the prequels arent a separate game just an early chapter.

This is where I am puzzled. If you use DAZ, all your assets are in the same folder, "My Library". I have worked on my own VN, but the assets are all in that folder in a sub-folder with the name of the game. So if he lost all his assets, he would have lost all assets for ALL of his VNs, yet he is still able to work on other VNs?

All assets are kept in the same folder. Period. If he is doing other games, than he is lying about losing his assets. Very sus, whether you like it or not.

I can't get into any details regarding something MoonBox and I planned, because it would be spoiler territory. But there is a mothers day render Moon made with Sabrina and Bethany on it, I think. There is a plan we wanted to do for Chapter 4, that was before my shit got taken though. Once I have my stuff back we will probably talk about it again ( regarding a cameo ).

I don't have access to any characters besides Bethany and Sabrina, since I gave those assets to two other devs ( Slockie and Moonbox ). Everything else you see for the prequel I had to download and setup again, including all characters besides Bethany and Sabrina. My New Family is made in Honey Select, which I have stored online since my custom artist needed the exact Honey Select version I use to make custom arts.

I feel like he doesn't know what it means when stuff gets seized by the cops. So I explain it again.

They took both of my pcs ( my main pc and my rendering pc ) + the portable SSDs I had where I also stored my files. That means 4 harddrives in the pcs that had the assets + one portable ssd that had the assets. I don't have anything of that here, neither the pcs nor the harddrives.

What I did was buy a completely new PC, download DAZ3D, copy over Bethany and Sabrina ( since those are stored Online/With other developer friends ) and then start from scratch. Every character you see in the prequel was made by me again. I didn't use anything I remembered from the main game, only if Sabrina and Bethany used something similar again ( like the hairstyle for Lea is the same Sarah has in the main game, as an example ). So no, it's not "one" Library, it's one library per PC. And since my main pcs are still not with me, I can't make renders for the main game. I can just write. Though with the abandoned tag now, I might do something with Sabrina and a little flashback + a slight nod to the prequel so people can go and play that while they wait for the maingame. It's free on here after all, you don't lose anything by giving it a chance.
