nice a 20 min mini update least it got rid of the abandoned tag till it gets re added later on down the line most likely by the same mod who added it in the first place though think i'll give this game a few years then check back in hopefully the devs situation is sorted by then and can get some decent sized updates and progress made with the game.

Also, I want to say thank you for the feedback so far. It's always a good feeling when you still "got it", that people still enjoy what you make. just a heads up. the "snippet" is incompatible with the multimod/walkthroughmod. at least on steam it is. "you" will have to delete all files included in the mod download+ the .rpyc version of those files, then reacquire the missing files. then the "snippet" will play as expected :)

Let's say that most of us here understand and sympathize with that sentiment...

BUT

The process of "re" creating all these characters is a mountain of work, knowing how obsessive K7 is with this, he would try and try and try to replicate the previous creation, and wouldn't be happy with "almost" results at all. So it would take him a LOT longer even, and create a tremendous amount of stress and agonizing anxiety. Yes, "we" wouldn't care if they had differences... but he would. Not because he considers them perfect, I don't think any artist is ever satisfied, but, because he would want them "identical" for better or worse.

So, he may correct me if I'm wrong, but it would be a rather unsatisfying process that could kill the motivation of anyone.

The only possible way to avoid that, would be to start over with completely NEW models and simply remake everything from scratch. I don't think K7 is ready to do that, or will ever be.

There's another possibility, simply let this project go into a "Limbo", and start something else... and I don't mean MNF2, but a completely new project, preferably in DAZ so the hours invested in learning it aren't wasted (also the assets). This, if put to a vote, would be my choice. IF/When the drives are returned, there would be time to re-think the strategy, in the meantime, this great creator would be increasing his training and knowledge and creativity in a different project, that would go a long way towards improving his mental health and reducing his stress and anxiety.

Since you're talking about a steam version (which i believe still uses the extra save files under appdata) could you uninstall and reinstall the program, giving you a clean version? Then you could add the snippet from the beta build stuff and play from there? (I didn't do it this way, so I'm just asking.)

Also, should probably back up saves anyway before trying this if you're not sure.

you could do that, but you still have to remove the files from the mod manually in the game folder :) depending on peoples download speed. its up to them which way they do it :)

I agree, and I wish more games were drama free, no sandbox, and no grind or having to raise money. Just like Killer7's games, and Grandma's House. Also sad to see the abandoned tag on this and many other games too, but hopefully they will return at a later point in time...

Well, at least that should be easier between uninstalling and reinstalling ^_^
