VN - Ren'Py - Completed - My Sister, My Roommate [v1.69] [Sumodeine]

There are a few great moments in this otherwise frustrating game.

The graphics are adequate and the girls look fine. The quality of writing is wildly inconsistent. The gameplay is very limited, as you are only occasionally allowed to make choices. The game will often force the player character to make terrible decisions, so it's hard to get invested in the story.

The sister is supposed to be the highlight of the game, but I found her to be the worst part of it. She starts off as a helpful mentor to the player character, but she quickly turns into an overbearing harpy. I just don't see the appeal in her and the story suffers dramatically because of it.

Pros

- Nice models
- Good variety of girls in terms of body type and personality
- The overall writing is pretty good

Cons

- Unavoidable NTRish content (1.5 scenes at the beginning, and you don't have to watch, but you know they are there)
- No animation

Don't play this as an incest game, or in general if you are bothered by being presented with multiple very attractive women that you can't have sex with and/or end up with (I'm looking at you, Sarah). If you can get past that its decent, the writing is good, though the sex scenes could be written better, but that is coming from someone who spent a lot of time reading erotic fiction before playing these types of games, so my standards in that particular regard are higher than most.

This game consist of a very solid character build up and personality that just keep us glued to the story.

While some of us players might prefer a game that intrigues us and make us keen to resolve that one cliffhanger, some other are instead atracted by a more appealing sense of humour and a nice slice of life VN. And here is where this game has it forte.

The game is incredibly good at making us laugh with each weird and crazy occurrence that the characters have, making it increasingly appealing for the player, accompained with a good writing. This game does not fail to keep us glued to it, constantly making us look forward for every update just to finally have a really good time.

The only bad side I can find of this game are the slightly sloppy renders that can still be improved. However dont let this stop you, as the female characters are actually so incredibly sexy and cute just by reading what they have to say.

Defs a must play game for everyone who enjoys a good slice of life and appreciates good comedy appart from the supperb writing.

The Good:
1. A combo of a decent amount of action of young girls plus a milf thrown in for extra spice. Ya I think shes HOT.
2. While Nikki Might not be as Pretty as one might expect, what she lacks in physical appearance she makes up in Personality and Loving Nature.
3. The Intimacy of this title is quite interesting to see how the relationships develop, and blossom, Nikki in particular, has a very Loving Heart.
4. Then came Molly... Enuf said? What a sweetheart right?
5. Cory and Chelsea are quite the duo and both are very loving.
6. Nine Endings

The not so good:

I highly recommend this VN, its full of great content and a tribute to the writing skills of Sumo. Great job on this one Sumo.

Excellent character development and story. Nikki is a great character and exactly the kind that fits with the sister premise - always looking out for you and being comfortable with herself around you.

Though I wasn't very into the renders at first, everything has grown on me thanks to the natural way the dialogue is flowing, with very few typos or errors that I can see - a great credit considering how many VNs are around that fail at being readable.

Overall I greatly recommend this.

You know I didn't like this game at first, but it's grown on me. The renders are really good. The story is over the top and unbelievable, but the idiocy of the Protagonist really makes this game highly amusing.

First of all, just install the incest patch, the story makes litle sense without it. The premiss is stupid. Just an excuse to tap the college and sister themes. You go live in a girls dorm with your sister? Really? The moms BFF just fucks you with no build up? There´s a virgin mormon whatver super hot virgin in the room next door? OMG!! But youre thinking: dude you gave it 5 stars! Yes! You see the guy just shoved all of his ideas at the same time when he started making the game and the begining is a mess... But it really picks up quickly with interesting characters, different situations, a row of hotties making a mess of everything and funny dialogue!
Its a VN, so you know how it goes, animations are good and some of the girls are really hot! Yes. You will fap to the milf. I really like how this is going, even the very last scene wich was criticized by some. Remember the MC doesnt know what happened, so its crazy fun to see what comes next!

7/10 I did not find anything exciting about the relationship between characters. Such a better comix. Beautiful models, conversation normal. There is no moment of surprise and conquest of women's hearts. I.e. Corruption is not working well. Some spice is missing.
The game needs something forbidden. Murder? As if television has not always been the case for criminal films and serials everywhere. Boredom. I played the game three times but I miss something here. The sense of success of corruption must be. A little joke. And mainly teasing. I do not know how to better advise. Your game, your will.

Great game! Let me start of by saying that the characters in this game is some of the better ive come across in these type of games. They all have their own personalitys and opinions. Not like the 2d characters you meet in most of these games.
The writing is also one of this games strong points. There is a coherent realistic story wich unfolds with each episode. The main character is charming and nice, and the supporting cast are varied and feel like real people.
Most of the girls are beautiful and sexy and you get to choose for the most part if you want to pursue them or not. The renders are not the best, but neither are they the worst. The characters all have expressions and convey the story in the game.
The only negative about this game i can think of, is that i would like to have even more control over the main character, more choices to make and have an even greater influence over the story.

In short, if you are looking for a more realistic and down to eart porn-game, this is just the game for you.

really nice and frankly underrated(in my opinion) game...only criticism would be the art quality, although it is fine enough for me...other than that this game is a gem...characters are well made and the best part is definitely the dialogue...i also really liked the pacing of the game...overall it is quite entertaining...should definitely try it out!

Excellent writing (Although some polish is needed with typos). So refreshing for the main girl character to be sex crazed instead of the cliche virgin character(although there is a character that fits that mold for people who are interested). Only real critique is that sometimes the models have floating arms in some of the lewd scenes. Also I really hate when the girls kiss the 'screen', if you have a model for the MC just use a third person view for make out scenes. With polish this game could turn into something truly great.

Writing is really good. The pace is excellent with lots of action and no hoops to jump through. The only thing I could complain about would be that the animations could be better and some of the intimate renders are grainy compared to the non-intimate ones.

This game is one of the games out there, that I actually like a lot. The progress inside the game is sometimes slow, but sometimes pretty fast. Main fact is that the game has a very decently built up storyline and many times very funny dialogues.

The renders are very good, too. Plenty of the girls are smoking hot.

Only downside is the amount of time between each update.

So, in fact, if you haven't tried this game, yet, give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

If you are looking for a game that actually has a developed and well written funny story then you should give this a go. I am not stating that there is no nudity or sex because there is and it flows well within the story. Give it a download, you will be happily surprised.

Very fun game. I can't wait for an update! All the characters have immersive and unique personality, and the author has a great sense of humor. There is a good balance between buildup and reward when dealing with the characters, and I am sure that the buildup with the sister (although she already has quite a bit of content) will be worth it once you get to the next level with her. Give this game (and the author) some love, people!

While the graphics are pretty damn good, what really sets this VN apart is the STORYTELLING.

Seriously folks, most of you know what stories up here usually consist of... exaggerated boobage and third leg syndrome.

What most lack, however, is what this has in SPADES... an actual story that is unique, refreshing, and incredibly well developed.

The characters are people you actually understand, and you don't find yourself holding down <Ctrl> just to get to the "good parts".

With this so far, all of it is good parts. I cannot wait to see the next install. Very entertaining (especially love the crazy vegan-who is so close to my ex its scary).

Characters and Story are Good but whats Really good is the Comic sense of the Dev. I really Laughed out loud to some of the Dialogues. Overall a worthy Play. And Hope that the Dev can go a long way into the story.

This game is really good. It has a slow pace in terms of progression but that's absolutely okay. Don't have to rush everytime through the story to get a result.

It's very well written and the dialogues are plausible. No sudden twists or things where you think: How did this happen right now and why?

You have a lot of choices and they affect the game in different ways. How the end result will look like? We still don't know but it looks promising so far. I'm looking forward to the next updates.

You should give the game a chance and have a look. You wont be disappointed.

Inconsistent lighting, choices aren't dynamic (largely only effecting what you immediately see, characters you didn't date on day 2 will still act as if you went on a date with them), pointless stat tracking, a few ugly models like Cory, lack of actual choice, and a dev for an incest game that doesn't seem to actually like incest.

Its saving grace are the few acceptable character models and occasional flashes of brilliance in the story.
