And yes, I'm honest enough to admit that I would hate it if this game got abandoned due to personal tragedy.

There are plenty of loyal fans who will keep people updated on the status of this outstanding game. If you don't see anything in the recent posts on this forum, it's likely nothing has changed.

It's not even been 2, man. He posted a wallpaper and an explanation of what's going on (Which has been detailed further up in the thread here) on Dec 15. It's understandable that he's not communicating much while he works the real life stuff out. Might it come abandoned? Yeah I suppose so, but I definitely wouldn't say that it is now.
