A few months back someone made sort of a remake of this game. But I can't for the life of me remember how they named it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Someone will back me up I'm sure if I'm leaving something out . . .
1) There was a developer quite a while back who was posting what were basically adverts for his project that said something to the effect of "if you love MSN, then you will love my tribute game". It became pretty clear pretty early in that project that the "resemblance" between the two games didn't really go beyond having an older woman/younger woman living next door, and the dev either didn't at all understand the vibe of the game he was claiming to honor or was deliberately inviting a comparison that was in no way justified. Because you seem to be asking about something that would resemble a remake beyond the rudimentary premise rather than something that very well could have just been empty marketing claims, I'm not even going to mention the name of the game here. If you're super curious, I'm sure someone else will drop the name, but as a matter of principle I just can't say the name of that game given how completely it fell short of what the developer was claiming it did.
2) About fourteen months ago a game emerged by the name of Love Next Door. There has been one update that was posted thirteen months after the initial release after which developer has completely vanished from the radar for coming up on two months now. In this case, the developer seems to have a really good grip on the vibe Pandelo was going for in MSN and the visual arts skills to pull it off . . . the main issue with this game is that it appears to be so committed to replicating Pandelo that the developer has vanished off the radar with no word on why he's vanished or if/when he will ever return. While what is there has a ton of potential, if I were to know with certainty that there would be no more updates, I wouldn't bother with the game. It's probably worth signing up to follow updates on that board Just in case EroBro rises from the flames like a phoenix, but as far as a game playing experience I'd say there's not enough there at present to be all that satisfying or fulfilling . . . that could change if the game starts getting something resembling regular attention from developer(s), but for now I can't say that it's a really safe bet that this game is going to survive.
3) There's been a time or two that a "developer" has mentioned wanting to take on the project of resurrecting/completing MSN, but none of those went much past a posting of a render or two. All that's really left of those "projects" is the announcement that a remake is coming followed by a bunch of excited feedback from fans followed by crickets. I suppose that just goes to show that it's much easier to want to be a hero than it is to actually be one.
