Just play it from the start. Wont probably take more than an hour to get to the latest part. I was able to complete previous version start to finish for about 45 mins only.
And we love them for it!
Japan is great at all stuff that matters such as anime, hentai, porn and games.
And countries etc should just focus on that instead of building weapons or whatnot, dumbasses.

I'm not too proud to admit defeat, i'm on day 3 and i need help. xd
The whole family is supposed to go to the beach but after waking up and talking to Kenji i don't know where else to go, every character is just gone from the face of the earth and i don't see anything that i could interact with.

I fixed that by closing and reopening the game, then loaded my save on day 3 when they woke up.
there's some sort of bug when you enter day 3 where the family disappears if you enter any other rooms. once day 3 starts directly head downstairs don't go into any rooms or it bugs out. if the family already disappeared because you went into a room then reload a save before day 3 starts.

I'm glad about the new update as just about anyone else but how come after an entire year, we're still at 0.4?

True but you also have to realize that this site is fucking insular, nobody cares if a thousand people complain about it nor you or me. Complaining about the game regardless of any reason is still valid, so is not caring about it at all.
So let people complain, the only ones that matter are the ones directly supporting the development. This doesn't mean people pirating it are wrong though, after all, they serve the purpose of making this game known to others who may support later.
