Doesn't matter. It wasn't on Patreon during its development, and as far as we're concerned, it's no different than a modded game.
What people need to understand, is we work for Faerin. So whatever he needs us to test, we'll gladly test it because that's part of our job as support staff. We do not work for the modders or those that offer up various ports for his games. So we will not test it, even if we had a Mac to test it with. If it came directly from Faerin himself who posted it here, that would be a different story. Which is why it's not supported here. If you want to get support for it, buy the Mac version on Steam, Nutaku or Itch. It's really that simple.

should I get the cheat mod? I'm planning on just doing without it just to see how grinding it can be lol

I completed the tutorial and even got to hotel level 4 but the cheat menu is still locked.
That is because someone decided to upload the version without the proper key. You can still get it on Steam though.
FryisWiggles Can you upload your save? She is unlocked later in the game, but you should have a hint for it.

in the tutorial it says you need to get her to tear 5 to unlock the option, and you need the option to find her

Either your save is bugged of you're using a mod, because the town is missing from your map. Without it, there is no way to meet Catalina.how do you unlock Catalina? where in the town am i supposed to explore?

Hi, I'm having a problem with the guests, they don't level up, they all stayed at level 2, can someone help me?

When you assign Julia to the lobby, click the number above it to select the guest level. The level selector unlocks once you reach Manor level 2, and Julia explains to you what it is, what it's for and what it does. You can also hover over that number to get an explanation as to what it's for.
