If it's offered in englished, then the english should be good... if it's offered in french, spanish, german or whatever else, then those should also be good... if your english is shit, then don't do an english version, and then people won't be able to complain about the poor english. Pretty logical, no?

Likewise, these are adult visual NOVELS... the writing should at least be somewhat decent, no? otherwise just do some random images so people can jerk off to them or something.

People aren't asking for much, in fact, that should be the bare minimum.
I understand with what you’re saying, but English isn’t my first language, not even the second language, too.

So why did I choose to use English as the main language in my game? It’s because it’s an international language and adult games aren’t popular in my country, so I’m trying my best to explain the game in English. Yea, this is the best I can do with English.

But don’t worry, you will have to endure my English a little bit more, once this game is done, I’ll be gone.

You shouldnt take criticism to this extreme tbh, my english also crap and your game is good enough at least for me, hiring a proofreader might be a best solution even tho i dunno how much you have to spend to pay them, it might be hard especially for a low support developer to afford a proofreader.

Perhaps you can added more languages on your game, i saw some crappy game compared to yours but got lots more support than yours but his game has bunch of languages from Vietnam,Chinese and Korean, so perhaps that was the reason he got more support despite his game isnt really that good in general.

And dont let some minority put you down, getting away from AVN developing because of them isnt really worth it unless you dont have any passion anymore with this.

I wasn't attacking you, I was replying to that other dude complaining about reviews that complain about the language... I do think it's a fair complaint.

Also, a lot of devs ask for help to proof-read their games... there's no shame in not knowing perfect english, but there ARE other solutions... just saying.

Sometimes it makes me happy that I play with a translator and can't spot mistakes in English text.:)

It's more about "Engrish."
English being my native language I see a few mistakes but nothing I would consider "Engrish." There are far FAR worse ones out there.

So first time playing and it's pretty much the world of Solo Leveling but the MC is V from cyberpunk with a demonlord instead of Johnny in his head. I can dig that. Mainstream media does it all the time so why not. Worth seeing where it goes.

I never heard of that thing you're talking about. And yes, there are ones where you can't even make sense of the dialogue.

Solo Leveling or Cyberpunk 2077?

The first is an anime. Season 2 just finished go check it out it's amazing. Or you can read it if you want.

I'm only seeing 1 scene with hazel when there are 3 gallery slots for her. Are the other 2 place holder or did I miss something?

i wish the words were slower. I was trying to read what was being said at the beginning of chapter 1. All I got was I don't hold a grudge and that's it. the words changed too fast.

Another thing. I wish the fight scenes had less talking and more animations. It should show like real fights. like have the characters charging magic and then have the magic move on it's own. It would be more enjoyable. Clicking every scenes gets boring a waste of time. I usually delete games like this but, I'm going to see if anything changes before I decide if I will continue.

The writing in itself is bad. It's not about translation only (as I'm not english native so bad english isn't really a thing to me) but how the dialogue are written.
For exemple the S-rank girl arriving and students expliciting her pedigree it's not fluid at all, too mechanic. Show don't tell does not always work but the way it's tell and the interaction are kind of weird or awkward.
I think that the writing is kind of "naive", the way characters talks and are showed.

I do find Solo Leveling awful too when it comes to this so I guess it's on point but I think you should find some trusted person to help you with the way you expose things and overall dialogue. You don't need to do everything alone dev', there will be some enthusiastic people about this story that can help at least with english.

When it comes to the story I don't like it but don't worry as I said I find SL (and it works for most others webtoons in the genre) really bad so it doesn't mean most people won't like. You just need to make it more clean to make aficionados of this kind of story very happy about that game.

So finally I don't think I will continu this as it's definitely not for me which is a shame as I really like Yuka's design and that's what make me start the game even if the SL-like type of story was not appealing.
Wish you good luck dev.

Updated my compressed Android port of Myth of Slayer with Zemax's multi-mod to Ch4.

This has my regular gestures: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left for history/rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the port and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.
