I mean the other thing with these games on long term milking mode is, the art style may have been passable several years ago when it started, but with each passing year it looks more and more ancient. The art in Mythic Manor looks REALLY fucking dated nowadays. I bet a lot of people check it out, and 5-10 min decide "oh fuck this there are a thousand H games with better graphics out there"

Hey everyone,
We're expecting Mythic Manor v0.22 to release mid-October! There shouldn't be much delay past that point (if any).
What are some things you can expect to see in v0.22?
→ New main events for Nefari, Fanora, Iris, Kumi, Astrid, Maeve, and... someone else.
→ Also, a couple of new multi-girl events, and a Sunday event! Everything else will be included in the patch notes once the update releases.

I figured it out. His paid Patrons dropped to below 800 for the first time since 2018 this month.The timing of that patreon post is almost suspicious.
Once again, an update with only 2 of the main characters getting content (1 event each, at best?). Dev(s) got the priorities set, I see. My money's on the release being sometime next year, in between june and july.
Naw, v22 will be out by November 15 or so at the latest. Once he actually announces, he follows through, it's when he goes radio silent that you're in "Three months, six months, a year, who the fuck knows" territory.
If I had to bet, it'll be about 6 months again, so April-ish (unless his patrons plummet earlier this time , then he'll move)

Surely the dev is desperate to grab some money, almost his patreon subscribe decreases in number over time, he's gonna release an update after 6-8 months with mini update low amount of storylines with 2-3 minutes content it's not worth of waiting.

I would have agreed with you... 3 years ago, before he slowed to a crawl.
Here's my issue: If you go back to version 0.5 (July 2018) and look at the game, then skip to v.20 (April 2023), it's really hard to justify why that took five years to make that progress. And in a hypothetical where the game is 'finished', let's say in another 3 years, no one will be able to look at the finished product and say "Yes, it makes sense that this game took 9 years to produce".
Wow, this game has been on the site at least as long as I have.

This game is what brought me here. That was years ago.
And it's one of my all time favourite games here. If it wasn't this slow in terms of updates.
The progress it made over the years is tedious. I was a supporter at patreon long ago and one of the highest tiers. Paid a lot of money, hell I would say this is one of my most expensive games in my gaming "career" of over 30 years. Beside Paradox games of course and things like WoW or LoL.
The way this game is developed I'll be dead before it is complete or even near completion.

Unfortunately Mythic Manor v0.22 is a bit delayed, it will release late this month or early November. I'll update again once I have a set date for its release.

Gross behavior by the dev. Announce a mid-October release on October 1st so people will sign back up for the $10 pre-release tier, wait for the Mid October date to pass, then "Whoopsie, delayed to next month", so he can collect an other month's worth of people signing up for early release.
On top of that, this looks to have about the same amount of content as v21, and that was called out at the time for being light.

It's always nice to see people slowly but surely getting wiser to a dev's scam tactics.
