So something just hit me when reading some dialogue from Paige, she says she thought the Manor was girls only and MC more or less confirms it by saying he's the exception. As far as I know though the previous tenant was also male, did i miss something somewhere?

The previous tenant was also the handyman. From what we know about him, it's pretty clear he didn't get out much. Small wonder that no one around town knew he lived there.
