If I remember correctly there is only 1 futa/trans scene, and yes it can be avoided.
And even that, is not a sex scene, they just show it for a moment.

So then what is the point in having it in the game? It's such an obviously contentious thing to just throw in there for no reason... if 99.99999% of your game content is targeted at a straight audience, throwing in a random chick with a dick is going to cause you a lot of drama and lost audience over nothing.

Hard to say what they had in mind. I assume it was to show how extreme some of the experiments and potions are.
