Don't know about the others they commented, didn't try them yet, but I can say A house in the Rift has better quality overall than this one (and if you like Mythic Manor, I'd recommend you try it, at most is as long as this one, so you won't lose anything by trying), if it wasn't because I'm a sucker for this game theme, I would be out a long time ago from this one, it's ok at most, and a very slow development, even if it's true that he is doing it solo, and for free, that slow of a burn just makes it so people stop caring eventually.

If the developer use their passion from making wallpapers to develop the main game it would be already finished in a long time ago.

It's not an unfair question. There has not been a post on twitter, or on Patreon (other than wallpapers, which are pretty trivial) since May of last year. And that after 11 months between versions .19 and .20.Huh, it is.

Developed 6 years and still all over in the game "under development" ? Something is fishy here !
i'm having a deja vu ! like i've seen this somewhere before...
i mean Why is it in there ? ("under development") if it didn't do nothing or have nothing to show ?
Why it's still in the game ? Just Cut it out from the game ! it's so annoying !
Was it a False promises ? Or Forgotten miss files ? or something more obvious ?
i hope it don't turn out like the Bones Manor ! i mean THAT was obvious ! Seen it million miles away ! It had the same "under development" years after years, Then BAM !

I'm honestly curious. Will they get an update out by April, for the same 11 month gap between v19 and v20, or will they let the 1 year mark pass before they publish v21?
As of now, since they haven't said a single thing about v21 since May '23, I do not believe it is possible for them to get an update out before April.

That... is an excellent question... I actually don't know.
They do publish 2 wallpapers a month on Patreon, but that's all. Is that enough to keep the thread from being marked abandoned?

According to the rules it takes 3 months of complete inactivity, or 18 months since the last game update even if there has been activity.
That goes a long way to explain why the wallpapers keep showing up at the beginning of the month, no misses. If F95 has a rule, I bet Patreon does too.
I quess dev took an inspiration from Internet Historian and Michael Reeves.

So, I haven't played this game is quite awhile. Has it actually become a "harem" yet or are we still just having scenes with a single girl at a time while also trying to hide that relationship from the other girls, but also sometimes not with random group scenes here and there. Looking at the change-log that seems to be that case.
I always assumed the game would be in development for quite some time, but the fact that we still seemingly haven't gotten to the point of the girls knowing about each other and it feeling like a harem is really disappointing. All the relationships feel far too disconnected from each other to really feel like a "harem". If the game continues as it is and we only get the harem as an ending that's just gonna be depressing honestly. The possible scenes have too much potential to waste, and the girls are way too likable for it to end like that.
If I'm wrong though and it has changed, I do apologize for the rant
