I understand its not difficult to find out what to do next. This game is also one of the easiest games in that aspect as well. But having to click through every profile just to see if there is something to do at the current in game time is pointlessly added steps. One could add a menu with each character allowing the player to go straight to their next event. I don't see having option on how to play being a bad thing. It would allow those who aren't big fans of Sandbox games to still focus on story with minimal interference while still allowing sandbox lovers to play in one. Also having a single menu showing all available current events for the in game time is just a nice QoL.No, it tells you what to do, and where to go. It is the freedom to go where you want, and to do what you want, when you want to do it. You don't pointlessly click, it allows for you to do the story if you want, or just go fuck around if you want. You can do anything you want to do. It's all about freedom and choice.
I can hold skip until I see tits too, which is what I do when I end up trying one, because without something to actually do, I get bored way too fast, and can't bring myself to care about the story or the rest of the so called 'game'. I am here to play games, not just to skip badly written story. I need to have things to do to keep my attention, or I just tune it out. I would rather be working than wasting my time on something so mind-numbingly boring.
But like I said, this game tells you what to do if you look, it's not that difficult. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
I am actually the opposite when it comes to what I skip. Most sex scenes I skip unless I am REALLY into the character. I also rarely like busy work (fuck around stuff) in most sandbox games. The things like minigames are just not fun because they are very simple the reward for them is normally very boring. Most extra things in sandbox adult games I could go play a game dedicated to them and get a lot more out of them.
I am curious if you like movies or tv shows? They sound like everything you don't like in VNs just without the clicking. If you do like tv and movies wouldn't a VN work for you when in the mood for that type of media?
