I know it's premature and it's only been half a year since the last update, but it's too soon to know if a new one will come out soon, right?

Since it's been seven months, we're almost at the point where the devs will emerge from seclusion, apologize for the radio silence (again), note that their efforts to hire someone to speed up development fell through (again), tell us that they're getting close to finishing the update, and give us a projected release date of ~1 month from the date of announcement.

Which, as is tradition, they will be late on by another month. Can't rush these things, after all.
