I don't know, it's a prickly subject and I'm conflicted about which side to believe.
As a writer, I understand that good work that originates almost entirely from one's creative mind takes time and effort to produce.
On the other hand, when you provide that work as a service to the general public in exchange for monetary compensation, you're expected to do so within a reasonable time frame, otherwise you risk being labelled as a milker, scammer, or whatever other jargon is used depending on which platform you distribute your work on.
I understand that there is no hard schedule set for these releases, but in this day and age when people's patience while waiting for something is as short as it's ever been, more so with the absolute chaos going on in our lives right now, you might have to reach a compromise.
I'm of the opinion that extra content doesn't quite make up for big delays, but you might think differently, I don't know, it's a personal thing.
